~When I get there~

What a day it shall be when we finally get there to Heaven to be with our Father God, we won't have anything else to worry about once we make it there!

Revelation 22:12-17

“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”

The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price."

It seems like giving up our addictions is hard to do but when you think about it separating you from God forever if you don't give them up, makes them seem much easier to give up.

Once Jesus comes back to take those who are ready to meet him, the world will be desolate and no longer a place to dream in..everything will be destroyed on this earth because Satan will take it over after the blessings of God no longer dwell on this earth, I don't know about you but I don't want to be here when that happens! I'm going to Heaven to escape this evil world that it will become once Jesus has taken those that were ready to see him face to face!

Revelation 3:10-11

"Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown."

The only thing that sometimes holds us back from our relationship with God fully, is the fact that our loved ones and friends aren't saved either..but the good news is that you can help take souls to Heaven with you! We cannot take our wealth with us..we cannot take our houses with us..we cannot take possessions with us.. But we can take our friends and family with us! We can witness to them and allow them to see how good of a person God has changed us into being! Lets show them what blessings they receive when they choose Jesus! They choose life!

Revelation 22:20-21

"He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!

The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen."

~You can't bring me down!~

Gossip is something that is in the world and even in our churches, it destroys things and especially church families..one thing that we can all learn is to work on our ability to keep our mouths shut!

Why is it that we always have to feel like we need to say something about another person? Is it because we want to make ourselves feel better? Because really when you gossip about others it hurts you more so than it does that person..don't you see? You're destroying yourself! There is no reason to feel the need to  bring up someone's past situations..don't you realize that it causes them to go back to that situation every time you mention it?

 I don't know about you but I don't want to go back to the person that I used to be! I want to only get better with time and move on to happier times in my life!

So why bring those issues up to them concerning their past..When they've already moved past it? Lets not gossip even if it's the truth about their situation..they don't want to talk about it, they don't want to go back there again in their life so lets move on and stop being so nosy about things that aren't our concern because that's going to hurt them if you bring that situation up in your conversation!

We all have that issue in our lives that we choose to forget rather than remember..because it hurts to go back to those things..why would we want to bring up their painful issues that they have decided to forget? We need to be considerate and thoughtful of their feelings as well as our own feelings! Instead of gossiping..lets help build them up and move on with their lives! Lets help them to see that we've all done things that we're not proud of but God can help anyone change! We need to offer them words of hope..not words that tear them down! 

Think before you speak..be a life changer for someone by offering them the opportunity to make their life anew and tell them that there's another chance for them in their lives! With Jesus.. It's a new day full of mercy and grace..lets offer our neighbor the same!

Speak truth, speak life, offer words of hope and most of all love your neighbor enough to hold your tongue from saying hurtful words!

Saying something kind to your neighbor one time during the week can build them up for the rest of the week! Choose your words wisely though because you can just as easily break them down with one sentence and end up ruining their whole week! Think about that today and realize that gossip hurts everyone..even the person speaking those words!

~Where do I draw strength from?~

One thing we must always remember in our lives is when we're weak..God is our strength, when hard trials stand before us..God is the rock that we can steadily stand on..he is our strong foundation that we can always have faith in that it's all going to be alright! we know for sure that Whatever we are going to face on the road of uncertainty in our lives..we know for certain that God is going to be with us every single step of the way!

I love the way these verses describe the strength of our God and the passionate words that describe the fullness of God in all entirety..

1 Chronicles 16:23-34

"Sing to the Lord, all the earth!

Tell of his salvation from day to day.

Declare his glory among the nations,

his marvelous works among all the peoples!

For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised,

and he is to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols,

 but the Lord made the heavens.

Splendor and majesty are before him;

strength and joy are in his place.

Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples,

 ascribe to the Lord glory and strength!

Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;

bring an offering and come before him!

 Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness;

tremble before him, all the earth;

yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved.

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice,

and let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!”

Let the sea roar, and all that fills it;

let the field exult, and everything in it!

Then shall the trees of the forest sing for joy

before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth.

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;

Where does our strength come from? Our strength comes from our faith in God and the unwavering hope that everything will workout in our lives because we know that God is going to be the strength that's going to get us through..Don't be afraid of anything in this life.. No one can stop you even if they were to kill you because God is going to make sure that you are taken care of on earth and in Heaven! Death couldn't hold down Jesus..so why would it hold us down? God is going to be with us in every step of our lives..through the good times and the bad times!

Can you imagine all the blessings that you've already received on earth and imagine the much bigger blessings that you'll receive in Heaven? When we get to Heaven, We will have perfect strength because God will give us perfect strength! We will have no more pain or sorrow..only joy and peace! We will have no more stress or discomfort in our lives because we will be with our Father in Heaven!

Can you imagine the beauty of God's face that will be shown to us on that glorious day? Thank God that his strength is perfect until we get to Heaven..I don't know about you but I simply couldn't make it in this world without him!..why would you even want to try to make it on your own? I need Jesus and I'm not ashamed to say that I cannot make it without him in my life everyday! Choose Jesus and choose to live your life more abundantly!

~I've been Redeemed!~

There are so many things that God has brought each of us through..it's incredible the way that we are able to overcome obstacles in our lives and God is the reason for that..even if we don't always give him the credit for it.

The truth is that life sometimes isn't fair to us and it's not because we're not good..it's simply because the world is not fair and good people often become hurt because of it.

I know how hard it can feel when you've treated people in the kindest way and you've given of yourself to benefit others but still they hurt you and abandoned you..I'm here to tell you that God will never abandon you, I know that others have deeply hurt you or perhaps they continue to hurt you daily but even though people have hurt you..God never will! Don't lose trust in people even though they have failed you countless times, instead put your trust in God and pray that he will give you the wisdom that you need to find the right people to trust in your life! 

Allow God to lead you to the person that you can trust in and you won't have the stress of worry on you like you've had before when you were with certain people, God will take away that overwhelming feeling of stress off of your shoulders..God doesn't want to see you in pain anymore..he wants to heal your wounds and make you whole again, God sees your pain and sorrow, he is our comforter in our time of sorrow and grief, he is our father and we are his precious children, when we hurt..he also hurts! God sees our suffering and he wants to help us to get out of those struggles whatever they may be.. He loves you and he sees your suffering, put your trust in him and ask him to give you the strength that you need to get through it all..God's going to help you and all the times in the future that you have to be around the person that hurt you God's going to make it easier every time and that person won't seem as big to you as they were before and that situation that they've put you through won't seem as big either..Because God is going to show you that he's more mighty than they are or your situation is! God is going to get you through it and you'll come out of this as an overcomer! 

1 John 4:4

"Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."

~Arise and be comforted!~

Psalms 119:73-82

"Your hands have made and fashioned me;

 give me understanding that I may learn your commandments.

Those who fear you shall see me and rejoice,

because I have hoped in your word.

I know, O Lord, that your rules are righteous,

and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.

Let your steadfast love comfort me

according to your promise to your servant.

Let your mercy come to me, that I may live;

for your law is my delight.

Let the insolent be put to shame,

because they have wronged me with falsehood;

as for me, I will meditate on your precepts.

Let those who fear you turn to me,

that they may know your testimonies.

May my heart be blameless in your statutes,

 that I may not be put to shame!

My soul longs for your salvation;

My eyes long for your promise;

I ask, “When will you comfort me?”

Sometimes we just need to be comforted by someone and feel as though we are not alone, we need to be reminded quite simply that God will always be there for us even when it feels like everyone else has stepped out of our lives.. God is always with us and we don't need to worry or be afraid because he's with us at all times!

Jeremiah 1:8

"Do not be afraid of them,

 for I am with you to deliver you,

declares the Lord.”

I hope that you will feel The Lord's comfort today..no matter what you may be facing in your life..know that God is going to get you through it and you're going to come out on the other side of this even stronger than before!

Arise and be comforted today and know that whatever you may go through you don't walk this road alone..for God is walking beside you every step of the way!

~The need to feel purpose~

There comes a point in everyone's life when you become tired of the same old and the constant games that we all play..you want something more, something real, something that will last, something in your life that has purpose and meaning, the truth is that we all want to feel the touch of destiny in our lives and we have become tired of the fate of this world..tired of the lies and games that the world seems to always play! A person needs to feel like they have meaning and purpose in their life, there's nothing more tiring than to replay the same things in your life and never experience change..You may be tired of being the life of the party so to speak and you're tired of pretending that it's okay and just having "one more drink"..that seems like a lonely path to go down to me..and no one wants to be end up alone with no one to spend their lives with.. The truth is that we're all afraid that we'll end up alone so there's no need to feel like you're in this alone! We all feel lonely at sometime in our lives but we need to realize that the feeling of loneliness doesn't always have to be fulfilled by "someone" but rather by "something bigger" it's called "purpose" there is no greater feeling in ones life than feeling as though you're in the right place in your life..in God's will! Somehow when you feel a feeling of purpose..life just seems to come together as if it were a puzzle! When you feel a feeling of divine purpose in your life it just makes perfect sense and you begin to realize what life is truly about! Life is about finding what your purpose is, using that purpose to help others, and serving God while you do it..the truth is that you'll never truly be happy until you do what makes you feel like you're helping others in your life..nothing compares to God's purpose and will for your life..when it comes down to it..it isn't much of a life if you aren't helping others and serving a God who loves you! Nothing else is going to be able to fill that void and no one else will be able to fill it either..only God will be able to fill up that emptiness in your life and be able to keep you filled..everything else in this life is temporary but God is everlasting!

Jeremiah 29:11-13

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart."

~Don't let it take your joy!~

There is nothing more essential in a persons life than for us to keep our joy, though life has many circumstances that causes us lasting pain..it doesn't have to destroy our joy!

Satan would love nothing more than to steal our joy from us..because it's our joy that keeps us strong and keep us going even though we are in the middle of fighting a situation in our lives! Satan knows that if he cannot steal our joy..he cannot destroy us! 

He is one step closer to destroying our lives if he has stolen our joy already but as long as we can hold tight to our joy..he cannot destroy us! Keep that in mind today and hold on to your joy because it's that joy that's going to get you through it all!

Psalms 35:27-28

"Let those who delight in my righteousness

shout for joy and be glad

 and say evermore,

 “Great is the Lord,

who delights in the welfare of his servant!”

Then my tongue shall tell of your righteousness

and of your praise all the day long."

We need to testify of the things that God has done for us and we need to thank him for the joy that he gives us each day! I know that we all go through a day here and there that is gloomy but we can have hope in knowing that it won't last forever..no more than the storms can last! Eventually the storms in our lives will stop..we just need to allow faith to be the umbrella that we hold on to and stand under to protect us from life's many storms!

Whatever you go through in your life..don't allow anything or anyone to steal your joy away from you because it's your joy that's going to help you to get through it all! 

With Joy and God's help you're going to get through it!

~Think it over..~

It seems like there are so many distractions around us these days and it can be very hard at times..especially for us Christians! It's difficult to know what to do to avoid it but sometimes we have to just step away from technology, Television and cellphones for a while to be able to clear our heads and remember what it was that we were doing before we got distracted! 

The mind is a hard thing to train but it can be trained to avoid the temptations of this world..it just takes time and dedication!

The mind can often wonder off into it's own world without warning and when that happens it's best to take a step back and take a walk away from it all for a while..I take walks very often because it helps me to remember why I'm here and what I need to be thinking about, as Christians I think that's one of the most tricky things to learn to control..because there are so many..shall we say "resources" that causes us to sometimes wonder off into thoughts that we shouldn't be thinking in the first place!

Don't worry though..because we all go through this at some point in our lives and we all have moments when we go back to those impure thoughts! I'm here to tell you that God can help you through that problem! God can help you to train your mind!

Romans 12:1-2

"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."

God can help you to keep your mind focused of his ways instead of keeping your mind of the things of this world! All it takes from you is the desire to change for the glory of God and God will give you the determination you'll need to get through it! Trust in him and he will help you to control your thoughts so that you can remain focused of what's important! 

Besides, God has way too many things for us to do and we need to work hard to get to that place where we can keep our minds on Christ Jesus and keep the worldly things out of our minds!

God can help you with that problem..give it to him and he will help you to train your mind!

If you have trained your mind to keep it on the Godly things but you have struggled recently..I want you to know that there's forgiveness from that! God still loves you and is waiting for you to come back to him..everyone struggles with that problem so don't stress over it or think that God loves you less..because he loves us all the same and he wants to see you come back to him! Ask him for forgiveness and ask him to help you with this problem and he will! 

Don't think for a second that you're  on your own because you're not..God is with you and your brothers and sisters in Christ are standing with you as well! Think on the things of Christ and you can't go wrong!

~Arise and take your place~

2 Chronicles 7:14-16

"if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayer that is made in this place. For now I have chosen and consecrated this house that my name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will be there for all time."

We are all here for a reason but some of us are confused of what that reason might be, many believe that it's all about being reckless in your life whether it be by your words or your actions but if life was really about that..then it wouldn't be much of a life now would it? because life would have no purpose..there would be nothing worth fighting for and nothing worth keeping because everything in life would become so corrupt and without any true value! Without purpose there would be no reason for this life and without God's calling over our lives we wouldn't have the passion that it takes for us to do what he has called us to do according to his purpose  that he has placed over our lives!

I'm so glad that God saw the potential in us before we were even born..he even knew what we would be purposed to do with our lives!

I'm so greatful to him for giving each of us a destiny and a calling to be accomplished for his glory..What a wonderful opportunity to give it all back to him than to do his works! What a mighty God we serve that he would have a special purpose meant for each of us! We are his sons and daughters..And he knows us by name!!

Ephesians 1:5-12

"he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.

11 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory."

~It's time for a Breakthrough!~

We all have something in our lives that we want to overcome..It may be that you're judgmental, or maybe you have a bad habit of stretching the truth all the time, you may be too blunt with people and tend to hurt their feelings without realizing that you did, or perhaps you are like me and you wish that you weren't so shy around people all the time, maybe you are trying to overcome doubt in your life.. Whatever it may be, God is the solution to that problem! If it's a habit..he can help you to break them! It's not too hard for God to get you out of that! All it takes on your end is to simply realize that you cannot do it on your own..God is a miracle worker and he can get you through it..you just need to give it to him and he will help you to break out of that problem, habit or generational curse! If your problem is something that was passed down to you from your genes..God can break those things off of you as well! Whatever it may be..God is the answer for that problem! Place it in God's hands and ask him to help you to learn how to change!

God helped me in many ways, I was so shy that I didn't want to speak my feelings to anyone..I wasn't even comfortable talking to my whole family at once! But God helped me out of that and I know that I never would've been able to write like I do now..if God hadn't helped me to overcome those things! God has brought me into so many new things in my life..all because I gave my life, my hopes and dreams to him to use me as he would! Now look what he has done in my life..he has given me the courage to write these blogs and ideals and also to sing in front of a crowd without being afraid, and to laugh in public and not care how loud I'm laughing because I want to share my joy with others..the joy of The Lord in infectious! 

God is the God of the breakthrough! He can break the chains over your life today if only you'd give him control over your life! It's the best decision I've ever made in my life! It's so worth it when you are free from all doubt and fear! When you're free from depression and disappointment! When you're free from sorrow and pain! When you're free from struggles and addictions! Whatever it may be..God is going to get you out of that! Put your life in his hands and trust him because he knows your heart and he knows how to make you happier than you could ever do on your own!

~Starting over~

We all try our best to make the right choices in life but often we end up making the wrong ones, the only way to truly "start over" is to first realize that you owe it to yourself to do it right this time around, many of the things that we do have consequences that we learn to live with and many times those choices end up changing our lives forever but sometimes those decisions end up making us into a better person and even allows us to see our future with wider eyes and bigger hearts..I think when that happens it's called "grace" because everything seems to turn around for the better in our lives and we end up learning valuable lessons that we learn to appreciate. 

I think it's important for us to look past some of the choices we've made before and allow ourselves to begin again and be happy..we could become happier than we've ever been before if we would give our lives to God to do the mending and restoring!

When it comes to God we can become new again and become happier than we were before!

We make life whatever it might be and if we give, love, forgive and show mercy to ourselves and to others around us..wouldn't that be starting over? If we could do that in our lives we could start seeing a whole new world to behold and we could share this life with people who truly appreciate it and who appreciate us as well! Think about that today..that you have the opportunity for a new beginning and a better start when you have God's grace in your life!

Today is THE DAY to make the changes that will benefit you and those around you for the rest of your life! Get ready for a better life, a chance for new opportunities to show up, better people to become your friend, a better outcome in all areas of your life! The only person who can make that choice is you, the power is in your hands..make that decision today and you'll be happier than you ever imagined that you could be! Put your life in God's hands and surrender your life to him and ask him to make you new so you can start over and never look back to yesterday but instead move forward..looking ahead at new things on the horizon! The future belongs to those that have the courage to go after their dreams and the ones that pick a day to make those dreams happen because they believe their dreams can make this world a much better place to live in! Choose today to start over and to truly be happy in your life..You are worth it!

~Home is where your heart is?~

I have a question for you to think about today..Home is where the heart is or home is where your fondest memories were?

While you think about that I'll tell you what I think about it..

To me it seems like an oxymoron, if you think of it in one sense it sort of cancels out the other possibility, in other words if you think "home is where the heart is" then you believe that there are all forms of possibilities in store for you and a good thing is just around the corner, you always think positive about things in your present as well as your future and that makes you excited for the things to come!

Now, on the other hand if you believe "home is where your fondest memories were" then it can become difficult and even painful to think toward your future, the last thing you need to do is wish for yesterday and long for how it was in the past..for one thing you need to also think about the kind of person you were then and imagine what would've happened in your life had you not changed into the kind of person you are today! If we think too far into the past we somehow become comprehensive about our unforeseen future full of wonderful new things that are good for us! If we won't allow ourselves to think in the present and have a good imagination toward our future then we could contradict our future and lose our passions along the way..

To me life is not so much about being reckless..to me it's more about giving yourself a good chance at life and surrounding yourself with people that believe in your vision filled with hope and living an honest lifestyle, I think life is looking back and being proud of the person we have become in the here and now, looking past our mistakes and being humbled by the fact that we have learned something from those mistakes..knowing that we will never go back to them,

I also believe that this life is also about being honest with others and telling them your ideals about life but at the same time not to be too naive, I believe that we should end the day knowing that we don't have any regrets of not sharing our lives with our loved ones..after all, isn't that the whole point in life..is that we spend most of our valuable time with the ones we deeply care for?

That's just my take on life, you are welcome to believe in your vision of what life is..there's nothing wrong with your ideals on that subject either, just make sure that you always say sorry and remember to say "I love you" and you always allow the past mistakes to benefit your future by not returning to those past mistakes..why return to the things or people that have hurt you before? Life is too short to have a memory full of regrets..chose an abundant life and to love those around you..and most importantly, don't wait until tomorrow to say what you feel today because the person that you need to tell may not be there tomorrow..it may be too late to say the words that you long to say! Say what you need to say today and leave no regrets for tomorrow!

How many more times are we going to hold back the words that we want to say? Life is so precious and so valuable, life is but a vapor and it can end just as quickly as it begins so don't remain silent, don't push others away, and don't deny what you dream of..dreams are there for a reason and we shouldn't ignore them, we should be wise and pay attention to our dreams as well as following those dreams. Allow God to lead you right where you're meant to be, or go, or become, God knows our hearts and our dreams aren't kept from his sight..they are as clear as the stars to him..I don't know about you but I look forward to God's unfolding dream for my life, I live to discover it and I desire to follow after his purpose for my life..

I can already see my dreams taking shape in many areas, I look forward to turning the page to the next chapter of my life's story and read it's storyline..and perhaps even discover some new characters along the way..Life is a journey, travel it!

~The killer of potential~

John 10:10

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."

There is one thing in this life that we all have in common..Satan coming to attack us, but why is that?

The answer is..Satan wants to destroy any possible chance that would allow us to succeed in life because he hates us and only wants to kill our potential!

He wants to destroy everything in our lives that reflects something good, he only desires to wreck havoc in our lives and cause us to fail miserably!

We might be afraid of Satan's plans toward us but that doesn't even matter because we're not going to allow Satan to stop us and we will continue our fight for what's right by God's standards!

We cannot be shaken, we cannot be stopped, we cannot be destroyed by Satan because our faith is not based on what Satan can do but our faith is based on what our God can do through us!

We are overcomers in Christ..so we don't have to be afraid because we cannot fail..even in death we have won because Jesus died on the cross so we could witness the day that we will see Satan and his army become destroyed! 

The battle has already been won before the fight even started! 

Any time the Devil tries to remind you of your past you simply remind him of his future..the day that he will be destroyed and we will rise with our Savior victorious!

Whatever you're facing today just trust that God is going to get you through it..shake it off and have faith because you know this simple truth..that you will ride on eagles wings someday..and what a day that will be!

Isaiah 40:28-31

"Have you not known? Have you not heard?

The Lord is the everlasting God,

the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He does not faint or grow weary;

 his understanding is unsearchable.

He gives power to the faint,

and to him who has no might he increases strength.

Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;

but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;

they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."

Today is the day for you to rise up to your full potential! Take God's purpose for your life and run with it and don't let Satan or anyone else prevent you from doing what you know you're supposed to do for God!

Satan can try to kill our potential but he simply cannot succeed in his plan because GOD HAS BETTER PLANS IN MIND..AND THOSE PLANS WILL TAKE PLACE AS LONG AS WE CLING TO THAT HOPE! Nothing is impossible with God so keep pressing on and you will succeed through him who has given you strength to continue on your way!

~You keep holding me~

In this life there are so many instances when we come face to face with life's struggles, it can be so difficult and it can cause you to question many different areas of your life..like your identity, who you can trust, it can change your perspective in life, and all too common it can cause you to question God while in the midst of it all.

The most important thing you can do is to hold on to God though it feels at times like no one is there for you when you need them to be..one thing remains true, God sees all that you're facing and he is there to hear your cry and to wipe away your tears! 

He wants to take away the worry you've been carrying and he wants to ease your pain..whether that pain may be physically, mentally, or emotionally..God can heal your pain, he can calm your fears and he can stop your tears, the only thing you must do is to hold on to the faith and God will help you to hold on to the hope that everything is going to be okay and that it will all work out for the good!

Romans 8:28

"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose."

Don't give up the fight..Because God's going to help you get through it all! Just keep reaching after God's own heart and you can't go wrong!

It seems like no matter what this life throws at me..God helps me out of it and somehow I end up only feeling stronger even though I wasn't sure at the time I would make it through the struggle..somehow God always gets me through it and I want you to know that if he can get me through it all..then I know without a shadow of a doubt that God will get you out of it all as well!

~Forgetting is the hard part..~

It's difficult to forgive and it's even harder to get over the pain that someone has caused you in your life, but it's the hardest task when it comes to forgetting so you can move on..when someone has hurt you in the worst way so it may seem to you.

But I wonder sometimes..how many people have we also hurt along the way? I know that none of us are perfect and we can't always do the right thing all the time so I'm sure there are many along the way that we have hurt as well, whether the intention of hurting them wasn't in our mind..in fact it may have been because we were angry or having such a bad day that we didn't pay attention to our words or our actions and in result we ended up hurting someone unintentionally along the way! When you think about it that way..it seems easier to forgive and forget! I know that for some reason we don't want to forget because we want to hold on to the pain and by holding on to the pain we somehow think that we won't have to let go of that person..it sounds crazy, I know..but in some way and for no known reason we feel as though we can keep both but we cannot, we simply can't hold on to that person no more than we can hold on to the pain! We have to make a choice in our lives, that choice is to either let go and move on to happy times again or not to forgive them and constantly replay what they did to you in your mind and in result you'll become bitter and unhappy! I want you to think about that today so perhaps you will allow yourself to move on and be happy again in your life! I promise you that after you do so you'll feel much lighter in your heart and the pain will fade as the time goes by!

It feels good to move on and forgive someone, though it's nearly impossible to forget what they've done..you can start over and learn the lesson of forgiveness and in result you'll also become a better person along the way!

Luke 6:37-38

 “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”

It's worth it to move on with your life, take the action of forgiveness and choose love..not hate for the person that hurt you..you don't have to be their best friend and you don't have to be around them constantly..in fact if it helps you to forgive them more easily perhaps you should move away so you won't keep replaying what they did to you in your mind and you can finally move on with your life!

Do whatever it takes to forgive someone..because you deserve to be happy in your life and you deserve to be free..don't allow un-forgiveness to ruin your chance of a happy life..

I know it may be strange for me to quote Doc Holiday from the movie Tombstone but this saying has a good point here..

"there's no normal life, Wyatt..there's just life, you gotta get on with it.."

You just gotta get on with your life..move on and get on with your life!

~"Used" things can become "New" things!~

Have you ever felt "used" by someone? If you have, it really hurts at times, sometimes it can cause such heartache and distress..especially if you are used by someone that you have feelings for or by a family member,

When this happens it causes you to question who you are and who you can trust, you ask yourself.."if I can't trust them, then who can I trust?"  Or "If they lied to me and claimed that they loved me..then maybe everyone is that way..maybe I should just accept it.." 

Don't do that to yourself! Don't place the blame on yourself when it was them that lied to you and hurt you!

You are better than what you're being offered! Don't settle for dishonesty! And stop telling yourself that maybe you deserved this in some way! You deserve real love, real loyalty and real respect! Don't settle for less..when you deserve the best!

In this life there are many things that can give us sorrow and such heartache but I'm here to tell you that it doesn't have to be that way!

If you've been used by someone dear to you then I want you to say this.."Used things can become new things!" It's not over for you..you can grow a new heart to be able to love anew and your trust can be rebuilt for people..don't go back to the liar that hurt you..instead move forward to find the one who would never desert you! Don't give up the faith though you've been hurt and your heart may still be hurting from the wounds that someone else has caused you in your life! Move into something better for your life!

Go up that hill though it may seem steep at first..it's worth it to make it to the other side!

Think of all the wonderful things that you can do once you let God do the mending! Don't move into another relationship until you've repaired your broken heart first! Allow God to mend your broken heart..God can even give you a new heart!

Broken things can become blessed things when you let God do the mending! 

Also if you give God your heart..he will keep it safe from getting hurt again! Pray first about all things and If you feel uneasy about it then know that it's not right! Always take the high road in life..because it's a much smoother ride and you will dodge a lot of heart-ships that way!

~Papa, Daddy, Father..~

~Papa, Daddy, Father..~

Today is a very important day, it's Father's Day and I wanted to write something special for not only my dad but in honor of all the other great fathers out there!

Firstly, my dad has taught me so much about life, he has taught me about what it means to treat people in a decent way, he has taught me that you should never give up on your faith in God and in people, and he has shown me what a great Man looks like and what to look for in finding Mr. Right someday!

Most importantly he has shown me how to continue my walk in Christ no matter what I may come face to face to battle along the way, I am everything I am today because my Dad believed in the person that I could be and allowing me to be "the quiet person" and assured me that I would someday come into my calling in the ministry, he never forced me or pressured me to become someone I'm not..he never made me speak up, understanding that I'm the way I am for a reason..because God made me that way! He never told me that I had to become something that I'm not..instead he stood beside me and let me grow into who I am today!

I'm so thankful for the confidence he had in me then, I know I'm the person I am today because he believed in what I could become!

My father also taught me the love of music and he passed on a legacy already that lives through me every day..my love for singing! I will always have that legacy to pass on to my kids someday, I want my kids to see the person that I am and be blessed by my example..the example that my Dad passed on to me! My children will always know how valuable they are in my eyes and they will know that I have faith in them that they'll pursue God's calling over their lives! Like my Dad has taught me how important faith in God is and in the ministry so I will teach my children those valuable lessons as well!

In my mind my Dad has taught me the most important things that you can teach any child..Courage to make a difference, Faith to get you through it, Wisdom to pass on to future generations, Having a loving heart, Always say "I'm sorry" and admit when you're wrong, and most importantly..Never give up on yourself or your dreams, never change your personality to please someone else because God made you right the first time! We can improve who we are through God but we should never try to be someone that we're just not!

Be unique in the way that God made you and believe in yourself..and believe in the beauty of your dreams!

Thank You Dad for protecting me when I needed protected and for holding me when I was feeling rejected, you will always be the rock of which I'll be standing! I love you Dad! Thanks for allowing me to be your Jazz listening, black and white movie watching, church going, hopeful romantic, journal and blog writing daughter! I'll always be greatful to you!

Happy Father's Day to my Dad and to all the other great Dad's out there!

~Are you thirsty?~

I don't know about you but I'm so tired of the worries of this world, I'm tired of never being good enough in the worlds eyes, I'm tired of being discouraged by others, I'm tired of people loving money more than their families, I'm tired of the temporary things and never being satisfied!

Are you tired? Can you relate to me? When I think about all of these things my mind goes to this verse, I hope this gives you the answers that you're searching for today and I hope that I can somehow make you see that Jesus can satisfy you in every single way! He is more satisfying than food or water..what more could you need but God? He is all that we could ever need to survive! I don't know about you but I don't even want to try to live without him..He is my all in all!

Matthew 5:5-12

“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.

 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness 'sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

~The word still stands!~

I don't have as much to say in my own  words to share with you today, sometimes it's good to let the word speak on it's own, the word of God has many things to say to us daily and the wise words between it's pages still apply in this day in age! I hope you enjoy these verses as I do, I'm going to post a few of my favorites, I hope this blesses you!

Psalms 119:10-16

"With my whole heart I seek you;

let me not wander from your commandments!

I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

Blessed are you, O Lord;

 teach me your statutes!

all the rules of your mouth.

In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches.

~Even when the rain falls..~

Through the years we go through things in our lives and we can either be greatful and learn from the bad times we've gone through or we can become bitter and drown in our sorrow..but each person either takes things one way or the other way, a person has to move on in some way..whether it may be "backward" or "forward" a person does in fact "move on" even in a "standstill" a person is still in motion because the world around them is still turning, you can either go with the flow of life even though there are interruptions, but life goes on..simply because it must!

It's not always easy and hard days can show up just as quickly as the good days come and go by us, but God is always there for us even when at times we feel like our day is peachy and going better than fine..almost as if we didn't need God on that day at all..But that's when we really need to pray is when it seems as though our lives are "just right" when in fact Satan is making plans to destroy us and attack us by surprise..hoping that we won't see it coming..which normally we really don't see it coming! Satan can surprise us quicker than a hiccup! So watch out and be prepared in prayer for those times when he does this!

Satan is always planning something miserable for us to go through so it's best that we are prayed up and ready to go through what the Devil has been planning for us and know that God is with us in those times..

I like to think of this song in those times.."Even when the rain falls, even when the floods start rising, even when the storm comes, I am washed by the water, even when the earth crumbles under my feet, even when the ones I love turn around and crucify me, I will never ever let you down, I won't fall, I won't fall, I won't fall as long as you're around me!"

No matter what happens in your life, even when your friends have deserted you or even your family, God will never let you down! You won't fall as long as you're holding on to God's hand! And if you do let go and you fall down..God will be there to pick you right back up again! He loves you and is proud to call you his child! Stay prayed up and don't let Satan have the upper hand over you! God's going to get you through it..just like he always has and like he always will! Trust in him even through life's circumstances make you want to question God but don't worry because he knows just what you're facing and he's right there helping you to get out of that! God is there..don't think he's not! Pray to him and ask him to show you the best path to take to get out of your situation so you can move on to good times again in your life! God is with you at all times!

~You are my world~

I've come to realize in the past few years what it truly means to surrender your whole world to God, it's not about becoming famous and big in the worlds eyes and it's not about your appearance or your fashion choices, it's not about how much money you make or even what your job description is.. It's really not about any of those things, because those things pass away and won't matter someday! 

However, what is important is our relationship with God and our devotion to him!

It's important that we understand the meaning of this life and that we know that we should be surrendering our lives to God, we should remember what it's all about..It's about making our lives bring honor to God and it's about giving God our whole life and making God our whole world!

When many of us were children our parents would hold out their arms the widest they could and say.."I love you this Big.." So why should we treat our relationship with God any different? We should understand the importance of our relationship with God and give our lives to him on a daily basis because we want to bring honor to him and we want to show our love for him, not just because of all he's done but because of all that he is and all that he's going to do!

Bring God the honor due his name and all blessings will follow after..trust in him, depend on him, worship him, honor him, surrender your whole life to him and let him be your whole world!

There's a worship song that has been dear to my heart for a long time and it says this.."You are my world, You are my God, and I lay down my life for you, You are my Lord, the one that I love, no one could ever take your place"

I think that is how our lives should bring glory to the almighty God, we need to have this same purpose.. each of us as Christians to let our lives be a living sacrifice to the living God and honor him with our whole life!

It's all about him, it's not about us and we need to realize that..WE ARE NOTHING WITHOUT GOD!

God, You are my world..You are my God and I lay down my life for you..
