you preserve me from trouble;
you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Selah"

  1. hey i am an amateur musician, and I also write songs and poems. Here is one that i wrote after my dad went to be with the Lord entitled As I Wept- Not many years ago I lost a precious friend. He was the head of our family and life without him has not been the same.

    Many events in my life I've wanted to share with him. So many questions I would love to ask, but for now will go unanswered.

    And as a million teardrops flood my pillow, the Lord revealed this unto my soul...

    As I wept, my father entered through the gates of Glory, beholding the beauty and splendor of Heaven fair.

    As I wept, a white robe is placed on his back, and a golden crown adorned his brow.

    As I wept, my fathers' feet caressed the golden avenue; as he is greeted with hugs and kisses from family and friends long gone by.

    As I wept, my father knelt at the Saviors feet and proclaimed “Father I’m not worthy” As the Lord answered “You are worthy my son, because of my love at Calvary, now enter in my good and faithful servant”.

    As I wept, the Lord gently wiped away the last tear that my father will ever shed.

    As I wept, the Lord lead my father to his new home, a gleaming white mansion trimmed in pure gold.

    As I wept, my father lead Heavens choir as they sang,”I'd rather have Jesus than silver or gold...

    As I wept, my father praised the Lamb and glorified his holy name.

    As I wept, my dad danced with the angels.

    As I wept, he rejoiced.

    As I wept...
