~Do not fear!~

"1 Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers!
2 For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb.
3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.
6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.
7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!
8 Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.
9 For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land.
10 In just a little while, the wicked will be no more; though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there.
11 But the meek shall inherit the land and delight themselves in abundant peace."

~In the desert with purpose~

When we think about Moses we generally think about the man that went before Pharaoh and demanded that he let God's people go, but what about the "In between" what about the story that lead to his divine purpose? Lets look into that part together..
"1 Now a man from the house of Levi went and took as his wife a Levite woman.
2 The woman conceived and bore a son, and when she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him three months.
3 When she could hide him no longer, she took for him a basket made of bulrushes and daubed it with bitumen and pitch. She put the child in it and placed it among the reeds by the river bank.
4 And his sister stood at a distance to know what would be done to him.
5 Now the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the river, while her young women walked beside the river. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her servant woman, and she took it.
6 When she opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the baby was crying. She took pity on him and said, "This is one of the Hebrews' children."
7 Then his sister said to Pharaoh's daughter, "Shall I go and call you a nurse from the Hebrew women to nurse the child for you?"
8 And Pharaoh's daughter said to her, "Go." So the girl went and called the child's mother.
9 And Pharaoh's daughter said to her, "Take this child away and nurse him for me, and I will give you your wages." So the woman took the child and nursed him.
10 When the child grew up, she brought him to Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. She named him Moses, "Because," she said, "I drew him out of the water."
11 One day, when Moses had grown up, he went out to his people and looked on their burdens, and he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his people.
12 He looked this way and that, and seeing no one, he struck down the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
13 When he went out the next day, behold, two Hebrews were struggling together. And he said to the man in the wrong, "Why do you strike your companion?"
14 He answered, "Who made you a prince and a judge over us? Do you mean to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?" Then Moses was afraid, and thought, "Surely the thing is known."
15 When Pharaoh heard of it, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from Pharaoh and stayed in the land of Midian. And he sat down by a well.
16 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came and drew water and filled the troughs to water their father's flock.
17 The shepherds came and drove them away, but Moses stood up and saved them, and watered their flock.
18 When they came home to their father Reuel, he said, "How is it that you have come home so soon today?"
19 They said, "An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds and even drew water for us and watered the flock."
20 He said to his daughters, "Then where is he? Why have you left the man? Call him, that he may eat bread."
21 And Moses was content to dwell with the man, and he gave Moses his daughter Zipporah."
You see Moses could very well have died if his Mother hadn't had the wisdom to put him in a basket and let it float wherever the river would take it, I wonder if she would still have put Moses in the basket if she had known where it would've lead him to? I wonder if she would've questioned God's plan for her sons life?
I always thought about Moses' Mother in this story and often tried to figure out what she was thinking or feeling at the moment of placing her son in the basket but I always knew one of the things that she was thinking while she was laying him in the basket..she was trusting in God's plan for her sons life that he might live and that her son would be safe wherever the river was going to take him, through her trust in God's plan..little did she know that she would be with him again but God worked it out for her..I always thought that was an amazing part of the story, it reminds me of the same kind of selfless love that Jesus' Mother Mary had when she also trusted in God's plan!
Moving on you can understand the purpose that Moses had on his life, even though he had struggles and he made mistakes..he even killed someone! But God still had a great plan for his life and Moses did wonderful work for God's glory!
When we look at Moses' life we should become inspired by him and see how God can use anyone even if we have gone down the wrong path for a while and made choices that we regret..but if we make the choice to turn away from those things God will still be able to use us! His purpose for each and every one of us is still made just for us so we should feel honored to serve such a God that would be so quick to forgive us no matter what we've done before! Sin is sin no matter what you've done..we've all sinned! It's time to rise up and take our place now for the kingdom of God! God is waiting to use you in the area that you were meant to be in! Look at Moses..he's known as one of the biggest biblical figures in history and he made a BIG difference for God's people! You could do the same by following God's purpose for your life now! Go out there and do whatever God has created you to do and if you fall..get up and try again!

~Verse of the day~

Romans 8:38-39
" 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."

~The Spirit in us~

What do you do when you don't know what to do? Or what to think? Or even where to turn to? The answer is clear..the only thing you can do is turn to God for answers to life's many questions! I hope these verses will lead you in your walk today..sometimes we need directions back to the road we have wandered off of. God bless you today and may this lead you back home!
Romans 8:24-30
" 24 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. 27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified."

~Verse of the day~

Mark 4:21-25
"A Lamp Under a Basket
21 And he said to them, “Is a lamp brought in to be put under a basket, or under a bed, and not on a stand? 22 For nothing is hidden except to be made manifest; nor is anything secret except to come to light. 23 If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” 24 And he said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you. 25 For to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.”

~Verse of the day~

Proverbs 16:6-9
" 6 By steadfast love and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for,
and by the fear of the Lord one turns away from evil.
7 When a man's ways please the Lord,
he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
8 Better is a little with righteousness
than great revenues with injustice.
9 The heart of man plans his way,
but the Lord establishes his steps."

Psalms 30:4-5
" 4 Sing praises to the LORD, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name.
5 For his anger is but for a moment,
and his favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may tarry for the night,
but joy comes with the morning."

~Where do we come from?~

Sometimes it's hard living in this world because of their belief in evolution..but one thing that remains true is that we have evidence and something that we can read as a simple reminder of how we got here, this is the story of us and how our God made us and made everything for us to enjoy!
Genesis 1:1 - 2:3
"The Creation of the World
1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.
6 And God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” 7 And God made the expanse and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse. And it was so. 8 And God called the expanse Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day.
9 And God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good.
11 And God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” And it was so. 12 The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening and there was morning, the third day.
14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so. 16 And God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. 17 And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18 to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day.
20 And God said, “Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.” 21 So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” 23 And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.
24 And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so. 25 And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.
28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” 29 And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. 30 And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so. 31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.
The Seventh Day, God Rests
1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done. 3 So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation."

~Verse of the day~

Micah 7:7-8
" 7 But as for me, I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me.
8 Rejoice not over me, O my enemy;
when I fall, I shall rise;
when I sit in darkness,
the Lord will be a light to me."

~Be Hospitable~

Ever since I was a little girl I always loved cooking for crowds and showing kindness even though I was very shy from a very young age, that didn't stop me from making friends though  because I worked hard at being friendly and kind to everyone that came into our church doors back when we lived in Hartville, Missouri.
I didn't realize until I grew up just how passionate I am in the area of cooking and working in the area of hospitality, I'm not huge on speaking in front of a crowd unless I'm leading worship on the church stage and I'm not a loud person but I'm still drawn to having a large group of people over to eat and have fellowship with them!
It's so important to learn how to make people feel welcome..whether it's in your home, in your classroom, in your business, in your church or in your restaurant! If you cannot develop a way to make others feel good around you and have joy..then what's the purpose of friends and family existing? If we were supposed to be alone then why did God tell Adam and Eve to multiply? Why would God bless Abraham and Sarah? It's because we were made to love one another and to get along! If you're not lifting people up in your life then you're tearing them down! If you're not helping others out then you're not helping anything! If you're not being gracious in your speech daily then you're speaking death over your friends and family! We must learn how to get along with people..even if you don't like someone that doesn't mean that you need to roll your eyes at them when they walk into a room! Show kindness! Show them love by showing them Christ through your actions! Smile more often and when there comes a day when you are needing a smile..someone will give you one as well! Sow into this world what you want to Reap! Be Hospitable and you'll have a much more fulfilling life!
If you're tired of being hurt by people then maybe you need to find some different friends to hang around? If you're tired of being angry then maybe you need to go out there and volunteer in the community by doing some good out there by learning patience? If you're tired of the same old in your life then maybe you need to look over your life and give up a few things..perhaps even bad habits are causing you the same result so why not give those up and try something that's good for your life instead? Sometimes we need to look at our lives and ask ourselves some tough questions but they are so worth it if they cause positive change in our lives!
Start today and start living a better life! Give your life to God and He will cause you to shine into the darkness of this cruel world to offer change in mighty ways to others out there! And you'll become happier in your life..you will notice a difference right away!
1 Peter 4:8-11
"8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. 9 Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: 11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."

~Confusion:looking for answers~

Sometimes in our lives we are brought to a moment where we feel so confused, we suddenly realize that we are at a standstill and no one else can help us but we can only help ourselves, sometimes there comes a point when you have to decide if it's what you truly believe or if it's other people's beliefs that you are following after..The truth is that we've all felt pressured into believing in something that's false, only because we so badly want someone else to feel our support..But what about our feelings? What about speaking up and declaring what we know as truth? What if we could find the right words? Would that change that person or would it anger that person? The answer is..no matter what response we receive from them isn't the important thing at all..the important thing is that we stood up and declared to them what we so strongly believe and making them realize that we aren't going to change no matter what response we receive from them!
Once a person can determine what's right and wrong according to the bible..everything suddenly becomes more clear and we are no longer confused because we know what we believe and the words that we abide by! We just have to make it clear to them what we believe in and make the decision to walk in our beliefs and not allow ourselves to become shaken by them..even if they decide to walk out of our lives at least we did what was right according to God's word!
There are times when we fall short but so many other powerful people in the bible  fell short too, there was King David..He had an affair and he had his mistress' husband murdered but he's known as the Man after God's own heart! There was Samson..he fell for the wrong Woman named Delilah and he told her his secret that God instructed him not to speak to anyone but he told her anyway..yet at the end he called out to God!
What about Peter? Peter was one of Jesus' followers.. yet Peter still denied Jesus..not once, not twice..but three times! But Peter later went on to spread the gospel to many!
You may have really messed up big time but you don't have to lay there in shame any longer! God still has work for you to do and He loves you no matter what you've done! God has a purpose for us all but He also knows how many setbacks life throws us..We don't have to give up, we don't have to throw in the towel..we don't even have to answer to anyone else besides God and he's a merciful and gracious God! So what do we have to fear? Nothing. No one.
We only answer to God and He is so forgiving so we don't have to feel like we need to hide or run away from our mistakes! Confront them all head on and confess your mistakes to him and realize what you truly believe so it will help you to determine who belongs in your life and who needs to go! Don't allow confusion to hold you back in this life! Move forward into the better things..the healthy things that make you happy and the things that feed your faith not your flesh!
Walk in his truth today my friends and you won't be confused by anything or anyone of this world!

~His thoughts are higher~

Isaiah 55:6-9
"6 “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near;
7 let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."
One thing we can always rely on is that God will never change his ideals, He will always be, He cannot be shaken, people may come and go, seasons change from winter to spring but one thing remains true..God is never going to change even though time passes by us as though it was sand flowing through an hourglass..Yet somehow He always remains the same! He is always strong and powerful, He is never late but on time, His love is deeper than anyone's, He cannot fail because He's perfect! There is nothing in life that we need to fear because God is already there to help us when things go wrong! He is our joy in the morning, He is our provider, He is even our friend who sticks closer than a brother!
No matter what you may face today..perhaps you have to be around some folks that are not so friendly? Just keep this in mind..God's with you and He has good plans and thoughts toward you..higher than your own thoughts and plans are! Have peace throughout your day in knowing this and be blessed!

~Verse of the day~

Psalms 94:15-19
"15 for justice will return to the righteous,
and all the upright in heart will follow it.
16 Who rises up for me against the wicked?
Who stands up for me against evildoers?
17 If the LORD had not been my help,
my soul would soon have lived in the land of silence.
18 When I thought, “My foot slips,”
your steadfast love, O LORD, held me up.
19 When the cares of my heart are many,
your consolations cheer my soul."

~Verse of the day~

Psalms 102:11-18
" 11 My days are like an evening shadow;
I wither away like grass.
12 But you, O LORD, are enthroned forever;
you are remembered throughout all generations.
13 You will arise and have pity on Zion;
it is the time to favor her;
the appointed time has come.
14 For your servants hold her stones dear
and have pity on her dust.
15 Nations will fear the name of the LORD,
and all the kings of the earth will fear your glory.
16 For the LORD builds up Zion;
he appears in his glory;
17 he regards the prayer of the destitute
and does not despise their prayer.
18 Let this be recorded for a generation to come,
so that a people yet to be created may praise the LORD:"

~Nothing to fear..~

There is so much going on out there in the world these days..it's simply amazing to me but not in a good way..But we have nothing to fear because someday God is going to wipe away all of all tears and catch us up to be with him, what a wonderful day that's going to be when we see him face to face!
The struggles that you're having are temporary..when we get to Heaven we will never have to struggle or worry again! And the best part will be that we'll get to reunite with the loved ones that have gone before us! You have nothing to fear as long as you cling to God and you serve him..He is such a marvelous God and He is such a forgiving God! Don't be afraid because God is with you today and it's all going to work out..you will see! Just hold on a little longer and have faith that God's going to help you to make it through!

~The Fruits~

Last night in the children's class we talked about the fruit of the spirit so I felt it was right for me to also write about the same thing today as well! I hope this blesses you, have a wonderful day everyone!
Galatians 5:22-26
" 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another."

May God richly bless you today and may your day be filled with joy,
 here is a verse to help build you up today!
Psalms 28:7-8
" 7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.
8 The LORD is the strength of his people; he is the saving refuge of his anointed."

~Need Encouragement?~

There have been many times in my life when I was at a loss for words and I just simply needed to find some encouragement! Sometimes people aren't going to be there for you at your very time of need but don't let yourself become angry because of that and don't become discouraged because they couldn't be there for you when you needed help, sometimes it seems like people are always too late to reach out in our time of need but God is always right on time! I'm so glad that we can put our hope in him that he will always provide a way for us! Even when we fail him he still calls us his and he still loves us! He is our protector, our provider, our strong tower, he is our redeemer, he is our comforter and he is a mighty God! I want to encourage you to stay  strong and know that God is with you today! He is going to help you through it today so keep holding on to him and know that somehow he's going to pull you through just like he always does!
Psalms 27:5-11
"5 For he will hide me in his shelter
in the day of trouble;
he will conceal me under the cover of his tent;
he will lift me high upon a rock.
6 And now my head shall be lifted up
above my enemies all around me,
and I will offer in his tent
sacrifices with shouts of joy;
I will sing and make melody to the LORD.
7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry aloud;
be gracious to me and answer me!
8 You have said, “Seek my face.”
My heart says to you,
“Your face, LORD, do I seek.”
9 Hide not your face from me.
Turn not your servant away in anger,
O you who have been my help.
Cast me not off; forsake me not,
O God of my salvation!
10 For my father and my mother have forsaken me,
but the LORD will take me in.
11 Teach me your way, O LORD,
and lead me on a level path
because of my enemies."

~He knows my heart~

One thing that's difficult to determine is knowing what it is that our heart wants out of this life but sometimes we have to spend many yours searching to finally find out what that truly is!
There are so many times when we are confused on what we want that we sometimes follow after what we don't need instead of what we truly do need..It can be easily mistaken as what you need when in reality it only looks good from afar!
When we stop looking with our eyes and start looking with our heart then the heart looks past so many different things and allows us to look with new eyes so we can begin to see the beauty of God's creation, God's love is all around us and you can feel his love every day!
For every single issue in your life that happens..usually the issue isn't so much the problem but it's more of a "heart issue" than it is anything else but if you can somehow form it into what God wants to form it into then changes begin to happen in your life that helps you and challenges you to become better than you ever imagined possible! Look upon your heart today and see what you need to address so that you'll be able to choose a much better life!

~The Ten Commandments~

~The Ten Commandments~
Something very important that every person should know and every parent should teach their child is The Ten Commandments, Because your child is going to learn a lot in school and it's important that you understand that they aren't going to teach them how to follow The Ten Commandments or even how to become a better person in life..school is for education not so much on how to treat your neighbor or to obey your parents.. so you better point your kids in the right direction so they will be able to know the difference when they are being taught good things and bad things because kids talk about very mature issues in school and they need to know when they need to walk away from that conversation! Teach your kids the right way and when they are introduced to the wrong things they will know the difference because you've taught them how to be wise!
Exodus 20:1-17
"The Ten Commandments
1 And God spoke all these words, saying,
2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
3 “You shall have no other gods before me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
7 “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
13 “You shall not murder.
14 “You shall not commit adultery.
15 “You shall not steal.
16 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
17 “You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's.”"

~It comes together in the end..~

There are so many who have made decisions that later on in their lives they feel as though they just don't deserve to be happy and have a full life merely based on the fact that they've messed up in their lives, they don't realize that they deserve happiness if they have truly changed and are proceeding to correct their bad habits because they are serious about changing for the better, they don't understand grace and how their sins have been pardoned because of it! Sometimes we just need a reminder that Jesus' grace has forgiven us and he's given us a new beginning if we'll only accept it but the thing is that we need to stop pouting around and blaming ourselves constantly for our mistakes because God has already forgotten about those mistakes as soon as we confess them and ask for forgiveness! Stop treating each day as if you have sinned and you aren't worthy of any blessings from God..instead get up and thank God that you've been forgiven of those sins and be greatful for the blessings that are on the way!
Romans 3:23-26
" 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. 26 It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus."
Because of grace we can not only be forgiven of our sins but we can also become blessed with all of these wonderful things because of his grace! Thank God for that!

~Tiny Miracles~

Today I want to talk about something of a touchy subject in the world these days, it's about the miracle of children and the world that's trying hard to destroy the babies that are on their way to being born.
I'm going to talk seriously about how valuable a child truly is and how a child is alive at the point of conception..which most people would disagree with by saying that simply isn't so, but the thing is you're either going to consider a child as a convenience or you're going to see it as an inconvenience..usually it's based on where you are in life instead of basing it on no matter where you are in your life a baby is a baby and it deserves to live!
In this day in age if you don't want a baby but you're pregnant..it's no problem because they just "take care of it" instead of "taking care of it and nurturing it" the point is..babies are a gift from God because babies are a miracle that we get to be a part of and witness!
I've always loved kids therefore I've never understood what could possess a woman to abort the life of her child, I know that sometimes a woman becomes pressured to abort their child because there are men out there not rising up to become fathers that they need to become because they suddenly decide that they're "not ready" and often the parents of a teenager will force their daughter to abort "the problem" instead of taking this as an opportunity by helping her prepare for a baby and teaching her the value of life!
What a terrible place we live in when we kill babies and make excuses trying to justify what we've done! Do they really think that God looks down and smiles at a murder or that he looks the other way? God formed us and knew us before we were in our mothers womb..he deeply cares for us and therefore he cares for those who are still in the womb and when a child is aborted, God is deeply saddened by it because he knew that child's future even before it was conceived!
Let me ask you a question..if you were just walking down the street and a stranger happened to say hello to you, would you just murder them right there on the spot just because you weren't prepared for them to speak to you? No, of course not! So why would you murder a baby by abortion just because you weren't prepared for it? I want you to really think about that for a moment and ask God to give you new eyes to see more clearly on this subject..it's very important that you understand how terrible it is to abort a baby, Did you know when a doctor performs an abortion they pull out the child's body parts with an instrument one by one and then they suck out the rest of the fluid from the womb? Not only that but it also leaves scar tissue that the woman never fully recovers from and a lot of the times the woman is never able to have a child because of it! A baby is a miracle from Heaven and a blessing in disguise at times..sometimes it comes as a sudden surprise but it's never a mistake for a beautiful child to be born, I know that some women aren't ready but instead of aborting the baby, why not have the baby and give it up for adoption to a woman who is indeed ready for a baby that she cannot carry herself..that child you're carrying could be the miracle she's long awaited to hold!
However if you have had an abortion I hope that I can somehow speak into your life today, there is forgiveness for you today and God loves you even though you've done this..but you can have new life today if you'll give that pain from what you've done to him..There is life after abortion because the baby went to Heaven but there can also be a new start for you as well! Reach out to him and accept his grace..he has a good plan for your life and your life has only just begun so accept his grace today and move past this and most of all tell your story to other ladies who are considering abortion..perhaps you can warn them from making the same mistake and you can save two lives by telling them your story!
Psalms 139:13-18
"13 For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 If I would count them, they are more than the sand.
I awake, and I am still with you."

~Give Thanks~

Today I wanted to remind you to be thankful of the many blessings that God gives to you!
Sometimes we need to simply say "thank you" to him!
Thank him today for all he's done and all he's going to do in your life!
Psalms 136:1-9
"1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.
2 Give thanks to the God of gods,
for his steadfast love endures forever.
3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords,
for his steadfast love endures forever; 4 to him who alone does great wonders, for his steadfast love endures forever;
5 to him who by understanding made the heavens,
for his steadfast love endures forever; 6 to him who spread out the earth above the waters,
for his steadfast love endures forever; 7 to him who made the great lights, for his steadfast love endures forever; 8 the sun to rule over the day, for his steadfast love endures forever; 9 the moon and stars to rule over the night, for his steadfast love endures forever;"

~Just the way I am~

People who are new believers sometimes question their worth merely on the fact that they have a past but what they fail to realize is that we all have a past..just because you don't see it on the outside doesn't mean that we haven't sinned..the only reason why they cannot see the past is simply because we no longer live there!
Grace is quite simple really, God looked down on a world who had turned away from him and he knew that the only way the world could turn away from all of that was through his son Jesus so he sent his son down to earth through a young woman who was a humble servant of God (who was a virgin) and her name was Mary, Mary and her husband Joseph raised Jesus up and Jesus traveled and taught the message of his Father..until the time came for him to willingly take our sins upon himself on Calvary on a cross, he was beaten, spit on and cursed at..but he did it anyway! He died willingly because he knew that it was the only way for us to have Grace! He saw our sin and instead of pointing out our sin he showed us his Mercy and he died to prove to us his Love!
You are good enough, You are loved, Jesus came because of that Love, Are you ready to be free? Are you ready to give your burdens to him? Through Jesus you'll find rest and you'll feel Love! He is worth it, don't carry your sin upon your shoulders forever..give it to God and he'll give you the peace you've been searching for!
The truth of his Grace is quite simple..it was all because of Love that he came and died for you,
So no matter what you've done before or where you've been, or who you've been around, or even what you've said..turn around and make the choice now to change! God isn't going to accuse you or be critical of you..if you ask him for forgiveness then he is going to forgive you..he won't say that he's ashamed of you..he will only say that he is proud of how far you've come and that he's happy you are home with him! He loves you and he is proud of you even if you slip and fall back into sin sometimes..he is going to be there to pick you up when you're ready to try again!

~It's time to speak up!~

Have you ever felt like you were being held back by your own words and you wished that you could find the words to say?
I think that most of us struggle with this but I know that there are also those who wished that they could hold their tongue..I cannot relate as much to wishing you could hold your tongue from saying words that you'll regret but I can definitely relate to feeling like the words just will not come when you want to speak up so badly.
I always struggled with being too shy and while growing up it was hard because I had a difficult time expressing myself and I know that I missed out on a lot in life when I was a kid because of it, now that I've grown up I have overcome most of my shyness but I still have a shy disposition.
 I've learned that being silent all the time makes a person feel trapped and sometimes others can make you feel pressured into becoming something that you don't want to become, When you're a quiet person sometimes other people speak over you even when they don't realize it, I know how you feel and I know that it's hard feeling this way!
I want you to know that I can understand how you're feeling but the best thing I can tell you to do that helped me to step out of my shell more was when I found what I was passionate about..it's amazing when the walls start falling down and you suddenly discover who you really want to be! Once I started opening up by helping in children's church and I started doing skits I found my identity and I began to discover what my ministry was and how much I enjoyed doing children's ministry,
You see, if it wasn't for the fact that I stepped out when I was younger I never would've be able to step onto a stage..I would've never used my voice to sing or to speak in front of a crowd to encourage people!
When you step out a little God is going to use you a lot! You just have to make a small effort and you'll later be able to do big things for God and in all areas of your life! Trust in God and trust in yourself as well! And surround yourself with people that will both inspire and will also challenge you to try new things that will benefit your life!
Change can be a good thing if you'll let it be, become the very best that you can be and don't allow your shyness to hold you back from the greatness that you possess inside yourself! You can be brave and you can take the world by storm because you are much stronger than you could ever think! Step out of your comfort zone a little bit at a time and you'll realize that there's really no reason to be afraid in the first place because with God there's really nothing to fear!

~They are crying out..~

There are so many people that are called into ministry but they fail to answer the line when God is calling them..what do you do when you're needed? Would you step up when there is an area that you are passionate about that is needing help currently?
There is a time when you need to stop asking "what can I do?" And start saying "I can help there!"
We need to step up to help when we have a talent in an area..whether it's singing, playing an instrument, helping in the nursery, teaching a children's class, hospitality,
helping in youth, cleaning the church or even working in the kitchen! Whatever area you are gifted in..you need to use your gifts!
We are all unique and we all have one thing in common..we desire to feel like we are needed and we desire to use our talents to benefit others and even ourselves (in an unselfish way of course) but the point is that we all have passions that we want to follow after and a lot of the time we refuse to accept the call to do just that!
We allow our pride to get in the way..we allow ourselves to get easily offended, we won't listen to direction and we don't speak up to take our places when they are open right in front of us!
Sometimes we are needed and we will not rise up and do what we need to do because we listen to Satan's lies telling us that we just aren't good enough! Sometimes we just need to do it anyway and accept that call!
There are times when you become "needed"  but you aren't passionate in that certain area of ministry, then there are times when the area that you are most passionate about is already filled, but then there's a moment that arrives when you are needed and you are passionate..the only thing left to do is speak up and make your visions of that area of ministry apparent! All you need to do is say "yes Lord!" And allow God to use you in mighty ways..He will use you, oh boy will he ever use you in mighty ways! You just get ready and catch the vision so when that timing comes you'll be ready to rise up and take your place in that area of ministry!
There is a need, there is a call, there is a vision to be seen, there is desperation, understand that you can be the person to effect others in a powerful and inspiring way if you'll allow God to use you! What are you waiting for? What is holding you back? Trust in yourself and trust in God for giving you that opportunity!

~Being Inspired~

So I've been sitting here trying to figure out what I want to write about when instead all I can think about is how thankful I am to have such wonderful blessings in my life, one of the many blessings being that I have such amazing and supportive readers!
Here's how my day begins..I wake up and look to see how many of you read and commented on the blog post or how many shared it, it always puts a smile on my face to see that you actually enjoy reading from my perspective on many different issues in this life and how God fits right in there with them..helping us through those issues!
You see, it's all because of your support that continually drives me to continue to inspire and lift others up..but what you don't know is that many times it is you that encourages and lifts me up when you leave me a comment on how much this message has helped you!
We are all going through difficulties in our lives and sometimes we feel broken, alone, afraid, desperate, angry, sad, ugly, used, cheated or guilty..whatever you are feeling, I want you to know that I care and I try my very best to write about the things that I am feeling that day so I can relate to you and encourage you to hold on and never give up!
If you are alone and you feel lonely know that God is there and I am here to help you as well, please feel free to comment or message me if you have any prayer requests or if you have any questions concerning the blog posts..I am here to help build you up and help you to go about your day!
I truly care and have a heart full of inspiring words that are meant to help and not to harm..that's why I'm very mindful of what I write and I focus on positive words that help to bring sunshine into your day because many of you start off your day with reading this and I must say how greatful and honored that makes me feel! Thank you from the bottom of my heart and I pray many blessings over your life always!
Many of you have said that I've inspired you but I assure you that it's you that's inspired me every single day since the beginning! I love you all my brothers and sisters in Christ and thank you for being my reason to continue my daily devotions..now excuse me while I drink my tea.
