~Hope that won't let go~

Living in this world can sometimes leave you feeling hopeless and weak because you have to constantly work hard to please the world by doing things that you don't wish to do.
There's nothing wrong with being different from this world! there's nothing wrong with how differently the words you speak are!
Job 11:18-20
"18 And you will feel secure, because there is hope;
you will look around and take your rest in security.
19 You will lie down, and none will make you afraid;
many will court your favor.
20 But the eyes of the wicked will fail; all way of escape will be lost to them,
and their hope is to breathe their last.”
Don't give up today, keep moving forward to the things of God, don't be afraid because God is there to keep you safe!
God is with you and you cannot be shaken because God is stronger than what the world is capable of doing to you! Keep that hope inside yourself..it is yours for the keeping! This is your day and God is with you so whom shall you fear? No one!

~Life's Journey~

There are so many roads that we go down in our lives, some are hard roads, some are challenging roads, some roads are lessons to be learned! Whatever road you have gone down in your life..God's had his hand over you this whole time!
God has his hand upon all of us and his promises are very true! He sees all the things that are ahead of us before they even happen!
God knows us better than anyone, he created us to dream dreams and he has a destiny for us!
It's such a privilege to serve such an awesome God who blesses us with many things in life!
If you've ever messed up..God is right there to pull you back up and bring you into the full purpose for your life!
Jeremiah 29:11-14
"11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile."

~You've got a friend~

Have you ever had a day that seemed so bad it could very well be the worst day of your life?
The answer is that we've all had that kind of a day, I'm so glad that when it happens we have someone we can always run to! some people are blessed with a great support system of their family members, many are alone so they have God to run to in their time of grief and discomfort! Many of us have tons of friends that support us! But whatever your support system may be..know that God will keep your heart steady and your mind at peace when you suddenly become shaken by life's obstacles! We don't ever have to fear of being all alone in our lives because God is there! but it is nice however to have that one person that knows how to pull you up and reassure you that it's all going to be alright and that this pain you're going through will subside one day..you just have to have hope and keep the faith!
If you're going through something today or perhaps you've had it hard in your life for a long time now, then I hope what I'm writing helps to encourage you and lift you up from the pit! God is with you..he hasn't abandon you! God wants you to cry out to him..he wants to take away your tears and pain! You don't have to face this battle alone..God is with you and there are people out there who care for you!
Along with faith in God, true friends and family..you're going to make it!
Don't give up hope that God's going to see you through it all! Don't ever lose faith that miracles can take place in your situation! Call out to God and he'll attend to your cry for help!
Psalms 56:3-4
"3 When I am afraid,
I put my trust in you.
4 In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me?"

~The Lord's Prayer~

I wanted to post this tonight, the word of God has stood all these years without it's words being shaken so I wanted to post these verses, enjoy!
Luke 11:1-13
1 Now Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.” 2 And he said to them, “When you pray, say:
“Father, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
3 Give us each day our daily bread,
4 and forgive us our sins,
for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And lead us not into temptation.”
5 And he said to them, “Which of you who has a friend will go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves, 6 for a friend of mine has arrived on a journey, and I have nothing to set before him’; 7 and he will answer from within, ‘Do not bother me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I cannot get up and give you anything’? 8 I tell you, though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his impudence he will rise and give him whatever he needs. 9 And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 11 What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; 12 or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

~What is compassion?~

There's a story in the bible that is a very powerful one, in fact when I was about six years old I preached my very first sermon on this very subject..it's the story of ultimate compassion and selflessness, it's the story of the Good Samaritan.
Luke 10:25-37
The Parable of the Good Samaritan
25 And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 26 He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” 27 And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” 28 And he said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.”
29 But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” 30 Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him and departed, leaving him half dead. 31 Now by chance a priest was going down that road, and when he saw him he passed by on the other side. 32 So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. 34 He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 And the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, ‘Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.’ 36 Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?” 37 He said, “The one who showed him mercy.” And Jesus said to him, “You go, and do likewise.”
Do this world a favor..speak life and words of encouragement to others! Turn a persons day around by being kind to them today so they can have an even better tomorrow!

~Perfect love casts out fear~

I'm going to share a story with you that I always felt touched by as a kid and even now that I've grown up it still reminds me of the important things in life, this is a beautiful love story that consists of the bride of Christ and it's sometimes king Solomon conveying his deep and passionate love toward queen Sheba, it's poetry at it's finest in my opinion.
I think we can learn a lot about what undying love is and how deep our devotion should go in our relationship with God and in our relationship with our spouse!
Song of Songs 5:2-7
"2 I slept, but my heart was awake.
A sound! My beloved is knocking.
“Open to me, my sister, my love,
my dove, my perfect one,
for my head is wet with dew,
my locks with the drops of the night.”
3 I had put off my garment;
how could I put it on?
I had bathed my feet;
how could I soil them?
4 My beloved put his hand to the latch,
and my heart was thrilled within me.
5 I arose to open to my beloved,
and my hands dripped with myrrh,
my fingers with liquid myrrh,
on the handles of the bolt.
6 I opened to my beloved,
but my beloved had turned and gone.
My soul failed me when he spoke.
I sought him, but found him not;
I called him, but he gave no answer.
7 The watchmen found me
as they went about in the city;
they beat me, they bruised me,
they took away my veil,
those watchmen of the walls."
They just don't write stories such as this anymore, this is the most beautiful book in the bible when it comes to romance and if you're still trying to figure out your love life then perhaps it wouldn't hurt for you to read the whole book of Song of Songs..I'm thinking the world could afford to learn some valuable lessons on love from this book..there are just too many heartbreakers in the world these days..it's so sad to witness it and see the brokenhearted victims of it! I want the kids out there to learn about "love" not "lust" we need to focus on transforming their opinion on love and let them see what it's really made of according to what God planned it to be!

~Still have some fight left?~

I don't know about you but I grow tired of Satan's schemes against me and It makes me want to come out swinging, I grow tired of the enemy's lies and devise!
Satan always seems to think that he's still going to win..which is why he's going to continue to pressure us in our lives, he's hoping that he'll break us down enough that he'll have defeated us once and for all! We mustn't allow the enemy to destroy and wreck havoc on our lives! We can rise up and say to Satan.."Get your hands off of me Satan, I'm a child of God!"
Satan no longer has any hold upon us..nor can he control our lives anymore! When we place our lives in God's hands, God makes it easier because every time Satan shows up hoping to destroy us, we are no longer alone and defenseless because God is right there to help us in our moment of need, no matter what it is that Satan may be doing to try his hardest to bring harm to your life..God is going to bring your life to safety! Whatever Satan may be tempting you with in your life..God is the one who's going to help you through it!
As long as your life belongs to God you no longer have to fear Satan's plans or schemes against you because God has already made a way for us to be with him and he's already won the battle! Satan has no right to cause problems in your life..you belong to God!
Satan has no power over you!
Satan will not win so why should he cause you to fear?
It's time to light a fire within yourself again and let it burn! It's time to stop listening to Satan's lies! It's time to fight for what the devil has stolen from you..it's yours, take it back with force!

~One of these days..~

No matter where you are in life you should always be looking forward to something in the future, make the most of what God has blessed you with and pray for the things that you dream of and are hoping for to commit to making happen, become determined to see those dreams come to pass! Believe in yourself and know that with a strong heart and a good mind anything is possible! God is always up to something great that he's sending your way so thank him for sending you "bonus blessings" when they have finally reached their destination..into your life.
Whatever you're going through today, know that God has a purpose for everything..it's worth the waiting, worth the pain, worth the loss, and worth the fight because someday it's all going to be alright again in your life..you will find out that it's worth everything to make it to the point of triumph in your life! Don't ever give up on God's purpose for your life and always remain positive..believing that it's going to be alright with time, so don't give up in any area of your life because it's going to work out..you will see what I mean someday!
Ecclesiastes 3:1
"1 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven"
Here's what I say.."Live your life like you mean it, believe it until it happens, and be thankful when it finally arrives.."

~Trust Issues~

There are some people who would trust a stranger more than they would their own family when it comes to talking about things that happened to them because sometimes their family just doesn't listen to them and it feels as though they don't care even though you know that they love you.
sometimes the problem isn't the obvious thing that you thought it was at first but instead it goes deeper than that..in other words sometimes we are really just afraid and we create the excuse that it's our family that is holding us back but in reality it's our own fears and lack of trust within ourselves that has for so long held us back from the things that we dream of or need!
How is it that we are sometimes afraid to tell others when we are in pain or to even share with our loved ones opportunities that have been opened up for us, or why is it that we cannot speak what our heart has been saying to us? There's a battle going on inside of us that is a war within ourselves..a war of which we are fighting no one but ourselves! What if we could only put to rest those fears and no longer allow trust to be an issue that continues to hold us back..what if we could overcome all fear and merely share our ideals and dreams with our loved ones? What if we could do that and no longer be afraid of change in our lives?
I don't know about you but I'm tired of feeling too afraid to trust others with certain things in my life and I'm tired of being afraid to take chances in my life..it's healthier for us to open up about our fears than it is to hold on to them on our own! You don't have to be afraid or worry about what people will think or say or maybe you're afraid that they won't say anything at all! If you're tired of it then change your ways because life is too short to be afraid all the time in your life, and there are more opportunities that work out than there are failures..we just have to try harder, learn to trust our instincts and learn to trust our loved ones with the truth..sometimes the truth hurts but wounds heal with time so use your words to express your gratitude, your joy, your sorrow, your triumph, your struggles, your goals and your affection for the loved ones around you! Don't live your life in fear any longer..trusting is not the issue..the issue is your lack of trust within yourself because you're fearful of what may happen next in your life after you utter words from your mouth. Don't let fear consume you and hold you back from being truly happy..because a lot of God's plans involve us to step out of our comfort zones and allow God to use us in a bigger ways!

~I can see it now..~

They say.."The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.."
But who walked down the path first? Who dreamed of the good life that it could be? And what did someone have to do to make those things happen in their life?
I have so many thoughts racing through my mind tonight about what to write, but sometimes I like to share something with you that's more on a personal level and share with you some of my deepest and most dear ideals on life in general!
Here's what's going on in my mind..sit back and enjoy as I tell you where my heart and my mind wants to travel to..
Have you really stopped and thought about where you came from or what your ancestors did to pave the way for you to make it into this world? We need to revisit the ground of which they once stood and realize the  value of things again! I look around me and I see a world full of people who have no clue what they can accomplish with a paper, a pen and an idea..because they no longer know how to dream or imagine things for themselves..instead they have people telling them what they can and cannot do!
People have stopped seeing the value of things, they've stopped feeling the passion inside of their spirit, they've stopped setting goals because they have lost the faith in their dreams and sadly..they've lost faith in themselves as well.
If you have an idea write it down at that very moment..don't wait because you'll eventually forget what that idea was or where you were when it came to your mind!
Stop wasting precious time doing the things that don't matter to you..find out what you want out of this life and set a goal to do just that!
What others think is important sometimes too and we learn good things from others but the truth of the matter is if you were put on this earth to do something different from anyone else in your family, don't be afraid to do it just because it's something different..you have two hands to use but you also have a mind to use if that's what you're passionate about!
There are many people who came from a long line of farmers and down the family line someone suddenly decided that they wanted to become a teacher instead of becoming a farmer but that's alright! Use the gift that God himself gave to you,
you can make a bigger difference by following down a new road that has been paved by your own two hands and if you must walk it alone at first that's alright too..
There may be some of you that came from a long line of atheists but you believed strongly in your heart that there was a God that formed all of existence..sometimes we leave behind what we know to pursue what we want to learn, it's not easy but it's necessary for us to find out the truth by seeing it in a whole new perspective!
God formed our very being and breathed life into our lungs,
we are built up of purpose and fully equipped with strong hearts that we might pursue God's purpose over our lives! After all.. He once used a donkey for his glory! If he can do that, he can certainly use you!
Don't give up that promise..fight for it with all that you have inside of you! Never allow Satan or instruments of the enemy cause you to miss out on God's calling over your life and don't ever stop dreaming, setting goals, having faith, being passionate, or believing in your own abilities and gifts! God has a plan for each and every one of us that we would succeed in the dreams that He has purposed inside of us to seek and follow after..keep moving forward toward that dream and don't stop until you reach the very place where dreams come true because you made them come true on your own!

~Dried up and in a valley~

It happens to the best of us, we are trying to do right and life seems to be going more than great but then  all at once Satan throws difficult times in our way that holds us in a valley and it seems like your life is so dry and you feel deserted!
But God is with you my friend and he sees you standing there in that place! He hasn't abandoned you..He is still holding you in the palm of his hands but even Job went through difficult times that Satan threw at him! They say that "God gives the hardest battles to his strongest soldiers" so if you've been doing right and you know within your heart without a doubt that you are right with God and Satan sends a hurdle in your path then you take pride in that and say in confidence.."God is going to get me past this!" Then you have nothing to fear my friend..because God is coming to your aid to help you out of that hurdle!
It may look like a huge log in the road to you but you're going to get past it! It may look like a dried up well to you but God is going to bring you to springs of living water!
Don't be discouraged when you're in "the waiting process" you are strong in The Lord and he's going to get you through it all! No matter what you're facing today have the confidence in your God that he is more than able to get you out of that pit!
He is more than able to satisfy your thirst! He is more than able to bring you out of the desert place!
God is mighty and he's going to help you.. so don't give up, lift up your hands and declare that you have already won the battle! Satan has been defeated again and you're going to walk in pride because of your strong God!
Psalms 143:5-8
"5 I remember the days of old;
I meditate on all that you have done;
I ponder the work of your hands.
6 I stretch out my hands to you;
my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah
7 Answer me quickly, O LORD!
My spirit fails!
Hide not your face from me,
lest I be like those who go down to the pit.
8 Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust.
Make me know the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul."

~The year of favor~

Isaiah 61:1-2
"1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor;
he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn"
I wanted to talk a little bit about the favor of The Lord today by posting a few verses on this very subject,
God's favor is all around us in our everyday lives!
Favor is like "blessing bonuses" as I like to call them..it's when we've been on our best behavior and God decides to put these blessings into our lives just to show us how wonderful of a God he is!
Psalms 90:17 - 91:2
"17 Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us;
yes, establish the work of our hands!
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
If you want some of these "blessing bonuses" like I was talking about, it's quite simple..serve God and stop serving the world and you'll receive God's many blessings that seem to show up nearly out of nowhere! Serve God and he will help you to have the strength to follow after him and deny this world!
~Dani

~A true story of forgiveness~

As I think to myself sometimes, I wonder "have I really forgiven them?" Have I truly discovered what "forgiveness" really is?
When someone tells us that they're sorry from the deepest part of themselves and we say that we forgive them but then we turn around and continue to remind them of their past even though they've changed..doesn't that mean that we have not truly forgiven them? Or is it really showing people "Jesus' love" If there is no forgiveness toward our neighbor? I understand when someone keeps returning to their old ways and you having to always be cautious around that person but not everyone is like that..not everyone abuses the offering of ones forgiveness.
If someone turns away from their past choices and goes to the cross to never return again to the darkest place in their life then shouldn't we treat them as Jesus treated them by saying "come and follow me?"
It seems to me as though we are hurting worse the ones that need a second chance than we are helping them to recover in a positive way! It hurts me when I look around and I see the un-forgiveness, the attitude, the denial, the burden that we put on others for the sins that they've committed..I think it's time to remind ourselves of the burden and weight that Jesus placed upon his own body so that we can become set free from all sin! Jesus came not to die for a world full of sinless people but he came for a purpose to die for the sins of those who were in the world out of such love! Shouldn't we treat people the same way as Jesus did? Shouldn't we remind ourself of the place that we used to be in when it comes to forgiving others?
If you've failed in your life today and you want another chance to do things right this time around..pray this prayer with me, "Jesus, I know that I've made mistakes and I'm sorry but I also know that you died for those sins so I can have another chance, be Lord of my life and give me the strength to move forward, help me to never go back to the person I was yesterday, in Jesus name, Amen!"
If you prayed that prayer then I want to be the first to say "well done" you have made the first step to having a better life by allowing God to fill up the empty space within your heart and to have his help throughout your life to continue to change you for the better! Don't give up but only move closer to all that God has for you by allowing him to make changes inside of you daily!
Maybe you have un-forgiveness in your heart and you need help to forgive others? If so then pray this prayer with me now..
"Jesus, I'm tired of un-forgiveness ruling in my life..please change my heart and mind so I can forgive others and help me to also to be able to forgive myself, make my life pure before your eyes and help me to love them as you once loved me when you gave up your life to set me free, thank you Jesus, Amen!"
1 John 5:20-21
"20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. 21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols."

~Matters of the Heart~

Have you ever noticed that you're not really lonely until someone makes you realize that you're single? Or maybe when another one of your friends gets married?
I wonder sometimes..do people seriously think it's your choice to be single?
I believe one of the oddest questions I get all the time is "do you have a boyfriend yet?" Or "do you want to meet someone..they're really "nice".. Why do people feel as though they have the right to make you feel inadequate in your personal life just because you haven't met the right one..almost as if you're under some kind of time frame?
Do you ever want to just tell them that maybe the reason why you are still single is because you haven't met "the one" yet? It's almost as if being alone for a while isn't alright and it makes you want to ask them if they were born engaged to someone as it is obvious that they've never been single before.
I'm writing this for all the single ladies and single men out there that are tired of people making you feel inferrer because you aren't "dating" anyone but are instead "waiting" for someone..you're waiting for "the one" and you're not ashamed to admit that you've never been interested in someone enough yet to go out with them on a date because you just want to go out with someone that you see, your eyes meet and you suddenly realize that they could be the right person for you and you're going to dig a little deeper to get to know that person and learn what their goals, hopes and ideals are in life.
I want you to know that it's alright to be single and to be happy about it! there's nothing wrong with being a happy person who doesn't have anyone to share the happiest moments with in your life at this time, there's plenty of time to find love out there..if you're still waiting then there's someone out there who is also waiting for you and holding back their heart from another just because they haven't found the right person yet! You're not alone in your loneliness if you're lonely..I'm lonely sometimes too but most of the time I'm happy and I allow myself to be busy to keep my mind off of it!
It's alright to understand that being single is but a mere season just like any other season in ones life..you can't force things into motion that aren't ready no more than you can prevent them from taking place in your life!
It will happen when it's ready to happen and when it does happen it will be right! Nothing or no one can prevent love from coming into your life if it's truly meant to be so don't become discouraged, believe in yourself, believe in people and most of all believe in the power of true love and that it exists!
One of my favorite quotes is..
"It might take a year, it might take a day but what's meant to be will always find a way!"
Don't become cast down and hopeless just because last years romance didn't work out and you trusted someone..most of us are also guilty of that but it's not much of a life if you can't build it on trust with someone you care about, now is it?
There is a season for everything it even says it in the bible..
"Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
"1 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
2 a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace."
And there's also another matter to think about..if you have loved time and time again but you've been hurt countless times then maybe the problem is that you need to be single for a while instead of jumping right into a new relationship? Because if you were really doing it right all this time then why hasn't it been working out? Give your heart to God to protect and don't listen to those around you when they are critical of your relationship status..if they do however ask just simply tell them "My relationship is still pending.." Trust me..they will look at you funny but they probably won't ask you that question for a while.
Be happy, single, dating or married and happiness will always find you wherever you are in life!

~Be a helping hand~

What would you do if you were standing face to face with an opportunity that you knew God had placed into your life after so many years before? Would you be afraid or would you trust God and trust in the gifts that you have grown up in that God has equipped you with to use?
When it comes down to it you have to make the right choice that when you stand before God you know that you have done your very best to help someone in need, there has to be peace in your heart to know that you have done your part and have planted a seed in someone, giving them the chance that they really needed to feel valued and loved by the father!
I want to be a world changer, not just someone who only lives in this world, I don't want to just sit around doing nothing when I can instill something positive into people's lives and later on down the road they will remember what you said, what you did or an act of kindness that you proved to them in some way that really showed them your love for God that wasn't in a pushy kind of way but in a loving way!
I'm discovering more and more through the years that my life is doing just that..I used to underestimate what the power of a smile could bring into someone's life, I didn't know that it could save someone's life! I didn't understand back then that one of my gifts would be encouraging people and lifting them up out of darkness, I didn't know that my joy could effect those around me and it could build them up! Now that I've discovered that is one of my gifts I'm going to reach out to as many people as I can so that they might see Jesus through me!
I want to build people up, I want to encourage people to follow after God, I want to show people God's love so that I can show them how he can change their lives for the better! I want to be a living, breathing example of God's faithfulness and of his love!
We have to make others understand the changes that a person makes in ones life is a gradual thing that is hard sometimes and that it's alright to struggle because you are doing it for a good reason and it's going to be worth it in the end when you receive so many blessings from God by the faithfulness that you are giving him with your life!
Isaiah 64:8
"8 But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand."
God is full of mercy and rich in love, He understands us better than anyone and sees our failures but yet He gave his son up for our ransom so that we can be free from all sin!
Matthew 20:28
"28 even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
If given the chance to help someone to come back to Christ I would do it..no matter what, because God forgave me so He can forgive them too..God is rich in mercy, slow to anger, compassionate and fair..shouldn't we act the same way toward others who are trying to find their way back? If given the opportunity to help someone in need would you do it? Would you be Jesus' hands? Would you be Jesus' feet? Think about that today and ask God to help you to be his hands and his feet so you can help those in need! Different gifts help different people out there, we are all needed in God's army and He has a special purpose for all of us so each and every one of us can reach out to the hurting and the crushed in spirit!

~Your Hidden Potential~

There are so many people who are just trying to figure it all out when the very thing that they should be figuring out is who they are and to find out the potential that they carry within themselves.
Why is it that we can see how promising their inconceivable future could be but they just cannot and will not believe that something out there could be the thing that they are good at? Satan really enjoys watching our loved ones struggle and suffer on the inside..trying to find who they are but they cannot because of the confusion that Satan has put in their mind!
We have to help others by not giving up on them and by showing them their potential until they can see it clearly for themselves! It's no mystery that we are all uniquely talented and that God has a unique purpose in mind for each and every one of us..But sometimes our potential is far away from us because we have distanced ourselves from our creator and perhaps we have listened to Satan whispering in our ears for so long that we have started to believe those negative words spoken over us!
 We don't have to accept what someone says, but shouldn't we choose to listen to the positive words and stop listening so closely to all the negative words that Satan continuously speaks over us?
Make the decision to only surround yourself with those who speak positive words into your life, stop speaking negative words into your own life, refuse to accept Satan's will for your life and decide that God's plans are beneficial to your life..they're even better than the very best plans that you could ever dream up! We all have a diamond hidden away in the darkness somewhere.. sometimes it only takes an extra hand to help us dig deep down to discover it within ourselves! You are called to something far greater than you could ever imagine, it's time that you started to believe in that plan and stop trying so hard to hide it away from people when it's clear to them already of the potential that you hold inside of yourself! Believe in that plan and walk toward it..never settle for less, keep moving toward the best!
Psalms 139:15-18
"15 My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 If I would count them, they are more than the sand.
I awake, and I am still with you."
God sees it, we see it..it's time for you to see that potential for yourself and take charge of it! You can do this!

~Sing unto Him~

Psalms 100:1 - 101:1
"1 Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth!
2 Serve the LORD with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!
3 Know that the LORD, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!
5 For the LORD is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.
1 I will sing of steadfast love and justice; to you, O LORD, I will make music."
Every day when you look around you and see the beauty of God's creation there is a beautiful melody that plays just for us to enjoy from God, The bird's song, The symphony that the wind plays, The flowers growing and the leaves flowing in the trees..Don't tell me that there's no God and that he doesn't care for any of us..at that moment he's even more real and reveals himself to me like never before..The presence of The Lord is strong in evidence when you look upon the stars and the gorgeous painted clouds by God's hand!
God is evident and near everywhere we go, we should honor him with the way our lifestyle is and thank him for each new day full of his mercy and new opportunities to do better than we did yesterday!
What a mighty God we serve, a God who loves us so much that he would create a whole day for us to enjoy and air for us to breathe through our lungs! Not to mention the new people to meet everyday and be friends with..to fellowship with in church and our family that we enjoy each day! What wonderful blessings he gives without ceasing every single day that we live! God is so good to us and we all have at least five things that we can be thankful for such as..Waking up each day, for a roof over our heads, for transportation, for our loved ones and safety! Have you thought about the things you're thankful for lately? Make a list of the things you're thankful for today and I promise you..it will change your whole outlook on your life completely! Rejoice.. You have plenty to be thankful for!
Psalms 96:1-3
"1 Oh sing to the LORD a new song;
sing to the LORD, all the earth!
2 Sing to the LORD, bless his name;
tell of his salvation from day to day.
3 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!"

~Cast your cares upon Him~

With all the destruction going on in the world right now and the wars happening in Israel one can easily become overwhelmed or burdened, your heart just hurts for the pain that they are suffering from, you can't help but to appreciate how safe America is and you want to help them but you know that the only thing you are able to do is pray for their safety at times!
Watching the news really makes a person open up their eyes to realizing how blessed they are or it should make you realize it anyway..that's the way I feel about it and it burdens me so much to think about their sorrow and their suffering!
In times like these with wars going on and so much hate from the Radical Muslim terrorist groups toward anyone who refuses to believe in their Muslim cult..threatening to kill anyone who refuses to believe in it, a person can only draw strength from one source and that source is from God above who comes close to comfort and protect us in times of need! He is the only one we can turn to for help and protection!
Psalms 55:22-23
"22 Cast your burden on the LORD,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved.
23 But you, O God, will cast them down
into the pit of destruction;
men of blood and treachery
shall not live out half their days.
But I will trust in you."
Pray for those in Israel that are right in the middle of war at this very moment because they are in desperate need of it!

~But, What can I do Lord?~

There are many stories in the bible of men and women who questioned God of their own abilities! But the one that stuck out in my mind today is of course Moses because I feel like I can relate to him since I've always been a quiet person..well I used to be until I let God use me to speak!
Let me tell you this story about Moses..
Now, Moses was unsure of his speech and wondered how God could ever use him to speak to Pharaoh when for Moses speaking wasn't his strong suit..in fact many people believe that he had a speech-impediment such as a stutter that made him uncomfortable to speak in front of people, His problem wasn't about not listening to God or doing what he commanded..it was how unsure he was of his own abilities to speak in front of a crowd! There are going to be things that God tells you to do that will sometimes make you question your own abilities just like Moses did, but if God needs you in a certain area in the church such as Teaching a Sunday school class, filling in for children's church, leading praise and worship..etc. then I would encourage you to do it unto The Lord and trust in him, we don't always know what's best for us but thank goodness The Lord does! It may feel like that you cannot handle the task set before you but God is going to help you with that task! God will never give us more than we can handle..in fact the bible says so..
Matthew 11:28-30
"28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
God knows what you're capable of, he wouldn't send you somewhere if he wasn't planning on using you in that place! He wouldn't place you somewhere without a purpose in mind! Trust in God and he will take care of the hard things for you, commit to doing what he has put before you to do and do it with all of your might, with a good attitude! God's going to take care of you and he's going to bless your hands for doing that work for him! Don't stress out over doing something that you've never done before..God has entrusted you will a task to do with it the best that you can, God knows what he's doing by placing you there in that position trust his judgement..He knows what he's doing and if you ever feel overwhelmed then get on your knees before God for guidance and he'll comfort you in that time of need!

~Fix my eyes on you~

There are so many things around us that can be so distracting these days, whether it be a commercial or seeing a picture in a magazine! There are so many temptations out there in the world..it's better to just give it all up and surrender every part of yourself to God..We need to place our hearts in his hands so that he can make it pure and he can wipe away the filthiness that the sin that this world has tempted us into can become clean and pure before the eyes of our father!
Another thing we need to do is apply the word of God into areas of our lives that we are confused about and study up on the temptations..learning how you can avoid those temptations!
And most of all we need to focus on the plans that God has in store for our lives, We need to understand that God sees the good in us and he gave us grace because of his steadfast love toward us all!
We need to fix our eyes on the goodness of God and stop looking around in the world for things that will not ever compare to the goodness of God! We need to humble ourselves and pray to God so that he can take control of our lives and lead us where we need to go and what we need to do and even what we don't need to do or go!
God knows us the very best so wouldn't it make much more sense to put our full trust in him?
No matter what addictions you may have..God can break you of those addictions! It doesn't matter what it may be, whether your temptations are alcohol, drugs, porn, sex, bad habits, lying, stealing, cheating, violence..the list goes on and on! God is the cure for all addictions! Whatever it is..God is everything you'll ever need to survive!
If you will commit to him and fix your eyes on everything that God is then he will help you to make it through anything and everything!
God is our provider, our comforter, our friend, our healer, our freedom, our deliverer, our miracle worker! If you can name it..God can break it! Give it to God and watch him transform your life!
