~Broken, Worn and Dry..~

I've seen it happen so many times where a Christian will become so discouraged to the point where they can't help but feel like they've been pulled through the mud and they just can't get up on their own, what do you do if you've helped so many people out of this situation but now it's you that needs a hand out of the mud? That's hard because I can absolutely relate to that situation because I've been there and it's difficult to get out of on your own..the worst thing to do is quit and sleep all day, instead I've found that the more you can occupy yourself with the better and it's good to take long walks in the morning dew..it helps you to feel the nearness of God and it's almost as though it's just you and God at that very moment in the day because very few people are up at that hour and God is such a great listener..somehow he is more present at that time than ever before.
So if this is how you're feeling right now..if you feel alone and broken apart, do this.. Get up early, get dressed and go for a long walk..talk to God in the mornings and I promise you it won't be long until you'll come back to life again.
Isaiah 58:8
"8 Then shall your light break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up speedily; your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard."
You're going to make it out of this and it may seem like you're alone but I assure you that God is going to be there with you..sometimes you just have to go outside to find him and believe me..soon you'll be smiling again and you'll have joy in your daily life again..I know you want to throw in the towel but just hold on, it's going to get easier and you'll come out stronger than you were before! God is with you so don't give up, get up and get going..this is your time to rise up and claim joy over your own life! You're going to make it..I just know it!
Psalms 119:147-149
"147 I rise before dawn and cry for help; I hope in your words.
148 My eyes are awake before the watches of the night,
that I may meditate on your promise.
149 Hear my voice according to your steadfast love; O LORD, according to your justice give me life."

~Your Words~

I think we need to be reminded often just how much of a blessing or a curse the power of our speech is to others and also to ourselves!
We have all said things in our lives that we wish we could take back, I know I wish I could go back and take negative words that I've said about myself and to my friends or family members..even shy people who aren't very outspoken say words that aren't very nice sometimes, no matter how hard your day has been or what you've been struggling with we should still be mindful of the words we speak especially because someone else may be fighting a battle that we have no knowledge of and the words we say may help them or hurt them to the point that they give up..our words can destroy people's lives or it can cause them to begin living their lives! Make the right choice today by speaking into someone's life and healing someone's heart with kind words! Smile today..because you have no idea who is hurting out there and how much they may need to see a smile!
Having just one positive person in your life can make the difference in your life..if you don't have that someone in your life then become that to someone else and help them!
Proverbs 18:19-21
" 19 A brother offended is more unyielding than a strong city,
and quarreling is like the bars of a castle.
20 From the fruit of a man's mouth his stomach is satisfied;
he is satisfied by the yield of his lips.
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
and those who love it will eat its fruits."

~In this life~

When it comes to life there is only one thing to do, you need to live it and appreciate those who you are lucky enough to share it with..sure there are temptations out there and bad choices are sometimes made in our lives but we shouldn't travel backwards..we should instead move toward the good things that are waiting for us around the corner.
In our lives we can either choose to be happy or choose to constantly worry about the things that we wish we could take back..there is only one life to live so don't look at it that way..instead, treat others well in your life, decide who is meant to win your heart and make a good life with that person, forgive others when they've wronged you and let go of what happened yesterday because life is just too short to stress over what happened to you or what someone said to you, or what someone didn't say to you..let go and live a life that you can be proud to wake up to and live the kind of life so when you can lay your head down on your pillow at night and have peace because you did better today!
If you want to be happy then decide that you're not going to be unhappy anymore..life is what you make it and it's about giving and enjoying what God has given to you in your life..cherish everything in your life because it's all precious gifts from God! Life is too short to have regrets and words that are left unsaid..do things that are going to benefit your future, be around people who care about you and want the very best for you!

~Worthless in our own eyes~

Let me ask you a question today..why is it that we struggle with finding our self worth? Why is it that someone else can see a beauty within us that we cannot seem to find in ourselves? I have to admit that I've struggled with this for many years and I still struggle with it from time to time..I believe most women do and also people just in general go through this very thing.
I'm so glad that others can see our potential and our worth when we cannot, what would we do if we didn't have those around us to help encourage us and lift us up when we are in this low place..
God is always there for us in all areas of our lives, when we are grieving..he is there, when we are lonely..he is there, when we are lost..he is there! Whatever it may be that you're facing today..God will show up to help you out of it! God is mightier than anything that we could ever face on this earth! God can help you to break bad habits, break addictions, he can help you to become brave, he can help to calm your fears! He is able to help you through ANYTHING! God is going to see you through and sometimes he even sends a guardian angel our way..which is also called "a friend"
God bless you today and everyday I hope you become an even better version of yourself because you are worth so much in God's eyes and in your loved ones eyes..don't ever doubt it, for you are loved and you are special!

~I'll walk beside you~

Do you ever feel alone but you are with a large group of people? Do you ever feel empty but you just ate? Do you ever feel parched almost as though you're in a dry desert? Do you ever feel afraid but you aren't in danger?
God is the answer to all of life's many questions..if you are lonely..he is your comforter! If you are unsatisfied..God is everything you'll need! If you are thirsty..he is a fountain that never stops flowing! If you are afraid..God is with you so whom shall you fear? No one!
Whatever you've been struggling with in your life whether you've told anyone what your problem is or not..God can get you through that! God can give you the strength that you need to continue on! If someone is bothering you..there isn't a person out there of whom God can't remove from your life..pray and ask for God's help on that and he will show up in the midst of wherever you are and offer you a way of escape out of that place you're in! God is going to walk with you if you'll allow him to! God is meant to be in our lives..not only for a way of escape when we're in distress but in our daily walks in life..God is meant to walk beside us the whole way and if we fall he'll catch us because that's what kind of God he is..rich in mercy and slow to anger! God is faithful even when sometimes we aren't very faithful to him! Thank God for his love and mercy or we would be condemned of our sins! Out of love God gave us his son as a ransom so that we could have grace and we could spend eternity in Heaven when we ask his son Jesus into our hearts! That's amazing, isn't it?!
Psalms 103:8-13
"8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
9 He will not always chide,
nor will he keep his anger forever.
10 He does not deal with us according to our sins,
nor repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us.
13 As a father shows compassion to his children, so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him."
~Dani

~I still believe Lord~

There are so many things going on around us that it's sometimes hard to remember why we're here, we get so caught up with our problems and how difficult our situation is that we focus on our issues instead of the needs out there!
We need to focus on helping people and giving of ourselves so we can make this world a better place and perhaps when we are also in need of help..someone will also reach out to help us when we have a need!
Deuteronomy 32:3-4
"3 For I will proclaim the name of the Lord; ascribe greatness to our God!
4 “The Rock, his work is perfect,
for all his ways are justice.
A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he."
No matter what is going on in your life remember to think of other people's difficulties and that other people are struggling too..pray for them and build a friendship with them because those kind of people are truly in need of someone and they usually make good friendships because they know how precious real friends are! Show kindness to others and assure them that you are there for them when they are in need! And someday that person will return the favor to you!

~Easily Offended~

Do you know someone at work or in your family who is easily offended and they take things the wrong way all the time? It can be hard at times because you feel like you cannot fully express yourself to this person because they are quick to jump to conclusions instead of just listening to what you're saying..if they would only listen to what you have to say..then there wouldn't be a problem with them jumping ahead of the story!
It becomes difficult to be around people who are that way, it's almost as hard as being around someone who is constantly gloomy and negative..But people can change if they're willing to.
If I just described someone you know or perhaps you may be that way I just want you to know that you're going to make it..joy is on the way and God's coming to change hearts in that area! Just keep holding on and God will help you through the rest!
When someone is deeply offended it's hard to break down their walls again because they don't know how to become free..but God can help them through it and he can help you to keep your focus instead of getting easily offended by something that most likely wasn't even an issue..but rather a misunderstanding of what was said! If you are really struggling today with this problem then I want you to lift your hands today and surrender it to God! Ask him to change your heart and your mind for the better! Or ask him to help that loved one who is struggling with this same problem!

~The Key to happiness~

Doctors, talk show hosts, or people who think they're doctors try to tell us how to be happy, how to live our lives and how to treat others by sharing our feelings all the time..The problem? Have you noticed how out of control their lives seem to be? Before you begin applying other people's advise to your own life..why not look at how well they're coping with their own issues, look at their emotions and how quickly they fall apart or what they do when things begin falling apart in their lives!
The true is that the key to happiness doesn't begin by listening to professionals..the key to happiness begins by deciding that you're going to be thankful with what you have and you will always move toward something even more fulfilling in your life! It's about choosing to be joyful no matter what others may say about you, it's about tough times arriving but you deciding to declare that your mountain be moved and you're going to overcome it!
Life is going to give you good things if you give unselfishly, your life will feel much more full and you'll be able to lay down at night knowing that you did good in this world and you made someone smile along the way!
The key to happiness is quite simple..love others, do good in this world, be unselfish, enjoy time with your friends and family, do something you're passionate about and most of all never give up the faith in God as he is the one who will help you to make it through every single season in your life! Now get out there and be happy..you are worth it and life is too short to not enjoy it! Life is a journey..travel it!

~No time for patience?~

Why is it that we all have such a hard time in the patience department? If only we could realize that if we could learn to wait just a few minutes longer we would be able to enjoy a much fuller life! When we decide to rush things in our lives we aren't able to understand or appreciate what we have by "the waiting process"
If we can train ourselves to hold on perhaps when something good shows up in our lives we'll be able to identify it instead of overlooking the good things! There is a time for everything under Heaven..even a time to wait so why do we wait so long to train ourselves how to wait for the good things? I've heard it said that "the greatest things in life are the things you wait for the longest" if that's true then we have been living life all wrong and we have been settling for less instead of taking hold of the best possible things to benefit our lives! When it feels like your head is spinning, when it feels like nothing is going right, when you feel like you just can't pass the test in your life..whatever kind of test that might be..God is going to be the one that can help you in that difficult place in your life by teaching you patience!
Let me ask you a question.. Aren't you tired of being impatient? Aren't you tired of becoming easily frustrated because you just don't have the patience? God can help you with that..God can give you the ability to wait on the things in your life that you're struggling to wait on! Pray to God and ask him to help you in this area! Ask him to put you in a place where you'll be able to learn patience! You can do this with God's help!
Ecclesiastes 7:7-9
"7 Surely oppression drives the wise into madness,
and a bribe corrupts the heart.
8 Better is the end of a thing than its beginning,
and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
9 Be not quick in your spirit to become angry,
for anger lodges in the heart of fools."

~Our Refuge~

Whatever you're going to face today I want you to read this verse and be encouraged and feel that God is with you wherever you may go or whatever you may do.
Psalms 25:1-12
"1 To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul.
2 O my God, in you I trust;
let me not be put to shame;
let not my enemies exult over me.
3 Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame;
they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.
4 Make me to know your ways, O LORD;
teach me your paths.
5 Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all the day long.
6 Remember your mercy, O LORD, and your steadfast love,
for they have been from of old.
7 Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
according to your steadfast love remember me,
for the sake of your goodness, O LORD!
8 Good and upright is the LORD;
therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
9 He leads the humble in what is right,
and teaches the humble his way.
10 All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness,
for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11 For your name's sake, O LORD,
pardon my guilt, for it is great.
12 Who is the man who fears the LORD?
Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose."

~I just need some rest~

I've been having some difficulty when it comes to sleeping peacefully at night lately, the reason why is because I've been feeling concerned about my niece and also other people in our church that have been struggling physically. I've been feeling sympathy pains for their pain, I've been praying for them but I've discovered that sometimes until they receive their miracle we have to continue to intercede for them! If that means that they need prayer at night when you should be sleeping in order to receive their healing..sometimes we must be willing to do that extra work in order to see God move in bigger ways!
I know that it's hard to sacrifice your sleep but keep in mind that while the hurting person is sleeping..perhaps they are also receiving their miracle because you are being a willing vessel for the glory of God!
Leviticus 26:6
"6 I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid. And I will remove harmful beasts from the land, and the sword shall not go through your land."
So if you have a hard time sleeping tonight keep this in mind..perhaps someone out there is in need of prayer at that very moment and just maybe the key to getting some sleep is to pray for someone else's need until you can fall asleep! People are hurting out there and they need our prayers so let's do what we need to do even if it means we lose some sleep tonight or another night this week..they could be getting their breakthrough as you pray!

~God's not going to fail you!~

This world is a very scary place right now and it's hard to know what to do or how to remain calm when wars are going on everywhere and people are being murdered!
With everything going on it's good to know this one simple truth..That God will never fail us! God wants the very best for us!
Psalms 73:23-26
"23 Nevertheless, I am continually with you;
you hold my right hand.
24 You guide me with your counsel,
and afterward you will receive me to glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.
26 My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."
I don't have a whole lot to say today but I want to assure you that God will not ever fail you! We fail God continually but for the reason that he loves us he offers us new mercy daily! It's such a wonderful feeling to know how awesome of a God that we serve! He is with you my friend..so don't worry in your life that you've sinned so many times that he will disown you..he will not do that! God is with you even when you have fallen short but that's why his grace is sufficient! Though we fail him..he is never failing! WOW, what an awesome God we serve!

~It's time to forget about it!~

I see friends around me all the time that constantly allow their past to contradict their future, it's so sad to watch them struggling to see who they are in Christ or even to accept that they can start anew!
God isn't the God of second chances..because if he only gave you that few of opportunities to make right your wrong then none of us would make it to heaven! God's a God of many chances because he is a big God who has a big heart for those who seek to find him with their whole heart! God is searching for hungry people who desire to be with him!
The wonderful thing about God is that he looks upon our heart..instead of only looking at our bodies on the outside he sees our very core..he looks upon our potential and sees our future as something with such purpose! It's not about what you've said in the past, it's not about what you've done, it's not about how many times you've fallen..no, it's about how many times you get up and continue on! It's about finding the right path and choosing to stick with it! It's about asking for forgiveness and another chance!
You are worth it, you deserve another chance at a good life!
Jesus loves you and he even died for you to prove to you of the greatness of his love!
Stop blaming yourself and continuing to go back to your old ways..instead declare that you're going to make the change that it's going to take to allow God to come into your life and make a difference in it! Small changes are like small seeds..if you take the time and effort to nurture it..it will change into something grand..full of life and purpose! That's how grace works in our lives! We are the seed and God is the water to make us grow into our full potential! Allow God to choose you, allow God to use you and allow God to mend your scars! God has a purpose for each and every one of us..all we have to do is accept grace and accept his purpose into our lives so he can use us! You are worth it because Jesus died to prove to you of his great love! With a powerful love like that..why don't you try his way for a while? Let God change your life for the better! He loves you and he does indeed have a purpose for you..choose his plan and watch your life turn into something incredible!
Romans 3:23-25
"23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins."

~Tomorrow's Worries~

One of the biggest things that consumes us in our daily lives these days is the fact that we worry too much! I've heard it said that.. "tomorrow's worries takes away today's peace"
You can't allow yourself to constantly dwell on the negative..you have to allow yourself to have some joy in your every day life in order to have some peace in your life!
I know that it's sometimes difficult and stressful when there are certain things going on in our lives but we have to allow ourselves to have something good throughout our day and try to make some time for some joy in our lives so we can have a little time to escape for a moment from what we are going through! Do something fun..take your kids out bowling! Take your wife out on a date! Cook a fancy dinner at home for your husband! Go watch a movie with your friends!
If You have to do things throughout your day to help take your mind off the pain then do it, if you can smile for but a moment..it's worth it!
Be happy even when you're in pain, even when you're having a hard time keeping smiling because you're going to get through it! Don't let tomorrow's worries take away today's peace!

~Be honest but kind~

It sure is hard to learn when to be brutally honest and when to just keep your silence..sometimes we must be brave to someone and express to them how hurt you are by what they've done, said, or perhaps even that you're not getting as much attention as you feel like you need from them, but one things for sure..learn to know when to remain quiet and learn to judge when the timing is or isn't right to be honest with someone..sometimes it's just a matter of timing, you don't know what all a person has dealt with in their day and you adding more on top of them could cause a big disagreement or suffering for them!
The main thing we must always remember is..There are two people in this relationship and you must always speak out of peace..not out of frustration if you can help it. It's about being kind..not about always being right! That's a very good rule to live by when it comes to working with others, learn how to communicate with your coworkers, your friends, your family, and even your enemies..you need to be a person of peace..not a person who causes conflict throughout the day!
When you're feeling insecure..reach out to your friend or your significant other and tell them that you need a long hug to comfort you in your time of need, when you're feeling stressed out sometimes you really just need to go take a warm shower, followed by a good book such as the bible or something else that's inspiring to you, when you're broken don't be afraid to cry or to even find a friend's shoulder to cry on..you don't ever have to feel like you're in this alone..so don't allow yourself to be, when you're feeling angry at your loved one..take a deep breath and think about what you need to say if you do say anything to them or perhaps you just need to stand on the porch and let it go by..most of the time it's better to sort our anger issues out without saying words that we'll probably regret later on..just remember that you love them and you want them to be happy..it's about being kind not about always being right so don't address what isn't necessary to bring up! If you've thought about it and you're no longer angry at someone..don't bring it up later and talk about it..we talked earlier about the matter of timing..by then it's too late to talk about it so don't bring it up after you've gotten over the issue! Be wise about what you want to say and don't bring up old wounds that are already healed up..you don't want to cause new pain due to old scars. It's time to move forward and be happy in your life and to make others happy around you as well! Bring joy into the lives of those you care about..and when you are in pain they will rise to help you get through that pain without a second thought.
Let's be peace speakers in our daily lives and allow strife to slide on by!
~Dani

~waiting on my miracle..~

Lets face it..waiting isn't really the thing that we're the most talented at! We just do not have much patience as humans..patience has to be taught and you grow to learn patience.
Life can be difficult at times to the point when we feel like we should just throw in the towel and give up..But God is the reason that we can hope and believe that there's something more..something much better on the way and God is going to take care of our situation!
Maybe you're waiting on the big check to come in any day now, maybe you're waiting to find out if you got that promotion that you've been waiting for, maybe you're waiting on something very serious..like finding out if you're healed from cancer, maybe you are believing God now for your healing and Satan has been putting doubt in your mind because you are having one of the symptoms that you had when you were ill before..You put Satan in his place and claim the healing that is already yours! Thank God for healing you and performing a miracle in your life today! Walk in victory because you are free indeed! Claim the miracle that God has already given you..you simply have to reach out and grab hold of what's already yours!
Don't listen to Satan's lies..he has no place here and he definitely has no say here! Receive the healing in your body today! Receive your miracle at this very moment! Say.. "it is mine!"

~A miracle is waiting for you~

Last night we had a guest speaker at our church  and it was a miracle service, many were touched by the hand of God including my niece lyric..she has suffered for far too long and I'm happy that I was able to watch her receive her healing in her little five year old body!
 It's very hard when you have to watch your loved ones suffer from physical element and you know that there's nothing more you can do..that is when it's time to surrender it all to God! God is a miracle worker and he can do anything..we just have to do our part by believing and having faith to receive that healing into our lives! It seems fitting for me to post a verse about someone receiving their healing! I hope this blesses you!
Matthew 12:9-13
"9 He went on from there and entered their synagogue. 10 And a man was there with a withered hand. And they asked him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”—so that they might accuse him. 11 He said to them, “Which one of you who has a sheep, if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not take hold of it and lift it out? 12 Of how much more value is a man than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.” 13 Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And the man stretched it out, and it was restored, healthy like the other."
It may seem like it's simply impossible in your life right now because you're struggling so much..but God is our healer and our miracle worker! He is our comforter in our time of need! Reach out to him and believe God for your healing today! God is still performing miracles in people's lives even these days..you just have to believe and have faith that a miracle is coming your way soon! Don't ever give up on receiving your healing!

~Start with loving yourself~

It's quite simple to love your neighbor and your loved ones but what if you cannot love yourself?
It all starts at home..meaning that it all starts and ends with "do I love myself?"
God loves us even though he sees our daily faults and he feels for us when we are struggling with ourselves, with our low self-esteem, with our pride, with our depression, with our addictions.. whatever it may be that has you struggling in your life..God sees you and he looks down on you with caring eyes!
Why do you fight with yourself?..you may ask, because Satan knows that if he can get you down to the lowest point in your life..he can get into your head by you thinking about suicide or causing you to think about other things that makes you take your mind off getting things right in your life, anything that causes you to keep away from getting on the straight and narrow path will cause pain in your life and it's going to be much more difficult to go back to the place where you can discover who you need to be in your life!
It's hard when you're unhappy or depressed, it's challenging when you are struggling to break free from your addictions..especially when you're in it alone but God can get you back on track! God is the way out of your struggles! God can help you to break your bad habits! God can bring joy back into your life again! Don't give up..God hasn't given up on you, so why should you give up on yourself? Believe in yourself and believe in your God that he has a special plan for your life and believe that he's going to get you through it all!
Love yourself because God loves you though you will fail him! God accepts your baggage and junk so he can make you clean! God can set you free from the shadows that depression has placed on you! Don't lose hope, don't give up the faith that it's going to work out for you! God sees every bump in the road and he sees around every curve..so you can trust in him that it's all going to work out!
Job 10:12
"12 You have granted me life and steadfast love, and your care has preserved my spirit."

~This is how it should be~

I look around me all the time and I see husbands and wives yelling at each other these days, there is no respect or honor in marriages nowadays..it just isn't common to see a husband honoring his wife or a wife respecting her husband! I just hate to see it falling apart like that and couples giving up on each other like they seem to do quite commonly in this day in age!
A woman should respect her husband and desire to please him, also in my mind a woman's job is to be proud of our husband and encourage him by lifting him up by having a smile on her face when he walks in the door from work! That's the way I've always imagined it to be!
And it's not always about being right all the time..it's about listening to your spouse and deciding together what is best, it's about give and give..not so much about give and take to me, I think you both give and learn that taking isn't as important to you anymore..because being married is sharing your lives with each other and it's about being so happy that you no longer think about the word "compromise" because the word compromise really indicates that one persons idea is pushed aside but in reality..the two shall become one so what he wants is what she wants and what she wants he wants! That means that you're in this together equally, now the husband is the head of the household but I've heard it said that the woman is the neck, which means that you are in this together..you both play an essential role in the relationship and that's very important to understand in my mind when it comes to marriage.
Ephesians 5:22-33
"22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.
25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, 26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. 28 In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, 30 because we are members of his body. 31 “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 32 This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. 33 However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband."
Respect is key in any marriage as well as honor, you should have your spouses best interest at heart and learn patience toward your other half! Be happy and find someone who truly appreciates you and a man that wants to honor you, someone who will want to kiss you even when you're old and grey, someone who brings joy into the shadowy places in your life, someone who is giving and caring toward you, someone who is hardworking and loyal to you, and most of all someone who is ready to lead!
That's the way it's going to be when I marry someday!
1 Peter 3:7
"7 Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered."

~His way is best~

I wanted to reflect on this verse today, I simply love to read in psalms and in proverbs which we are reading from today! I hope this verse blesses you as much as it has blessed me! Have a wonderful day in The Lord my friends!
Proverbs 8:17-21
"17 I love those who love me,
and those who seek me diligently find me.
18 Riches and honor are with me,
enduring wealth and righteousness.
19 My fruit is better than gold, even fine gold, and my yield than choice silver.
20 I walk in the way of righteousness, in the paths of justice,
21 granting an inheritance to those who love me, and filling their treasuries."

~Tell the Truth~

Proverbs 8:6-8
"6 Hear, for I will speak noble things,
and from my lips will come what is right, 7 for my mouth will utter truth;
wickedness is an abomination to my lips. 8 All the words of my mouth are righteous; there is nothing twisted or crooked in them."
One thing that we need to realize these days is just how rare honesty is, it's a shame to witness your friends and even your family members developing a bad habit of lying, the habit of lying is hard to break..you cannot be trusted by anyone unless you are honest and you are not a liar!
We need to pay close attention to what we say, if we lie to others then eventually we will also begin to lie to ourselves and we won't be able to identify the good from the bad! It's very important to guard your words and to not tell lies!
Be honest at all times and if you lie repent of your ways and begin to tell the truth from that point on!
Proverbs 12:22
"22 Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
but those who act faithfully are his delight."
Be careful to tell the truth today and live an honest lifestyle as well as you possibly can..there is also an opportunity to live right tomorrow because of God's mercy so just do your best everyday and if you mess up..get back up and try again!

~Don't be Prideful~

Proverbs 11:2
"2 When pride comes, then comes disgrace,
but with the humble is wisdom."
Proverbs 16:18-20
Something that we all seem to struggle with in our lives is pride, we may not realize it at first or sometimes we never realize just how prideful we have become until God reveals it to us but the truth is it's in our human nature to become prideful but God can help us in that area so that we can become free from that!
One way that you can destroy pride is to work on your humility, if you are humble then pride can no longer dwell inside your temple and pride is destroyed!
"18 Pride goes before destruction,
and a haughty spirit before a fall.
19 It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor
than to divide the spoil with the proud.
20 Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good,
and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord."
Have you been feeling selfish lately? Have you been feeling like you haven't been doing your part? Maybe you're feeling that way because pride has formed inside of you where humility once dwelled..Give your pride to God and ask him to help you! Ask God to help you to think of others like you used to, ask him to put a passion back inside of you like you used to have! God isn't through with you just because you're having a tough time right now because of the way you're feeling..he's still in control of your life, you just need to raise your hands and ask God to redirect your path! You need God to help you to find your way back to his ways in your life! Give it all to him and allow God to restore you and give you freedom from pride! Don't allow Satan to steal things from you due to pride that is inside of you..surrender that to God and God will use you for his glory!

~Love heals your heart~

There are many wounds that life has scared us with and many of those wounds cannot be mended unless you go to it's source!
For example, if you're struggling from depression then start hanging around happy people and eventually it will begin to help you to have joy as well! If your heart has been broken and you're in a lonely place in your life then find someone who is going to make you forget that your heart was ever broken in the first place! Love heals wounds that are deep within your heart but there is one thing that can mend a broken heart and that's someone who comes along to put the pieces back together for you and somehow you realize that it doesn't hurt anymore!
If you're lonely for a friend..reach out to someone who is also in need of a friend and you'll find the friend that you've always needed!
If you're in need of answers.. start asking the right questions to the right people who are eager to help out, there are good people out there who really want to help you, don't give up on the good ones just because the not so good ones have hurt you in the past! Look forward into the here and now and forget about those who have hurt you in the past..instead declare that you're going to have a good future and you're going to have a good group of people to help you to get to that place!
Love heals broken hearts, love heals broken spirits, love heals trust issues, love is what's going to mend your heart so don't ever lose faith that it's all going to work out and most importantly..don't give up on those around you who have good hearts just because you're afraid that you'll be hurt in the same way as you were hurt in the past..move past that and begin to trust again, let your walls down to receive something that's better for your life anyway! Love heals those wounds I know that they do..because I've seen it and I've felt it for myself.

~A lesson of Loyalty~

I've noticed something these days, a lot of people just aren't loyal anymore! Have you noticed how many people just give up on their loved ones instead of sticking around? Where is the courage to stay? Where is the passion? Where is the undying love?
This world is dying mainly because people in the world don't know how good they have it with someone,
I can understand how hard it must be to trust someone but once you know that they are trustworthy you shouldn't ever abandon that person..right? That's what I always thought..I always thought that you couldn't be hurt unless you were hit physically, I never dreamed you could be hit just as hard by someone that has lied to you.. There's nothing more painful than a broken heart..unless you've been lied to or cheated on, I can say from experience that it cuts like knives when that happens.
We have to teach the younger kids how to be loyal again, they aren't going to learn it by watching because there isn't a good example anywhere around for them to learn by watching, we have to teach them these things and show them the love that they need to benefit from in their life! If you are loyal and trustworthy..you need to start teaching these kids just what that means! This world is growing more corrupt by the passing days..now is the time to teach the kids these lessons so that when they're grown they can be loyal to someone someday and they can be trustworthy too! There isn't a better gift than to teach your kids to remain loyal and to tell the truth.

~Being Compassionate~

When I think about what it means to be compassionate the story comes to mind about the Good Samaritan, although others passed the injured man by..the Good Samaritan took pity on him and reached his hand out to help him in his desperate time of need! What if we could do that in our daily lives and reach out to others in their time of need? It seems like we only make up excuses in our lives to others who are seeking our help..why can't we just take a second to help them with their need before our own more often?
Lets really think about that today and ask God to give us those opportunities to reach out to someone in need of our help! Lets be Jesus' hands and feet! lets allow him to use our mouths to encourage others! Lets act as though we're really excited about helping others for Jesus! Lets stop sitting around in one spot and begin to look around us for those who are hurting so that we may help them in their time of need!
Luke 10:25-37
"25 And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 26 He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” 27 And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” 28 And he said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.”
29 But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” 30 Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him and departed, leaving him half dead. 31 Now by chance a priest was going down that road, and when he saw him he passed by on the other side. 32 So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. 34 He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 And the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, ‘Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.’ 36 Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?” 37 He said, “The one who showed him mercy.” And Jesus said to him, “You go, and do likewise.”

~Have Mercy!~

There are many instances and points in our lives when we "cry out" to God seeking his mercy, we know at that moment in our lives that we are in desperate need of his help..sometimes we need God to help us out of a situation that no one else could begin to understand enough to help us through it! God understands our pain, our struggles, he sees our secret tears that we cry, he sees our wounds, our addictions are not hidden from his sight and yet he still loves us through those struggles! He is a very powerful God..a God who can get us through ANYTHING, no matter what you may be struggling in today! If Jesus could pull Peter up out of the sea while there were waves crashing in all around him..then God can pull you from the place that you're in right now..at this very moment! God can help you through anything! Cry out to him and he will also hear your cry for help out of your situation! God is the almighty God who will get you through it all!
If you're desperate for a change in your life..cry out to him! If you're tired of feeling the same way..surrender your all to God! If you're feeling ashamed of the life you've been living or you're feeling guilty about your past..then give it to God! He will supply all of your needs..YOU WILL MAKE IT THROUGH THIS! Put your life in God's hands for a while..it's like that Allstate commercial that says.."Are you in good hands?" Well..are you? If not..would you like to be? Then put your life in God's hands to use you for his glory and guess what?! You're gonna make it out of this! Don't give up the fight! You can do this with God's help and with the help of your loved ones!

~A faithful God~

People come and go many times in our lives, so many times we need to be reminded of his faithfulness..that he is always going to be there to help us through in our lives!
No matter where we go, no matter what we do..God is there beside us to get us through it all, even if we stumble and fall he loves us and he is quick to forgive us when we ask for it! What an awesome God he is and how great is his faithfulness!
Psalms 33:1-5
"1 Shout for joy in the LORD, O you righteous!
Praise befits the upright.
2 Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre;
make melody to him with the harp of ten strings!
3 Sing to him a new song;
play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts.
4 For the word of the LORD is upright,
and all his work is done in faithfulness.
5 He loves righteousness and justice;
the earth is full of the steadfast love of the LORD."
