~The lost get found~

Matthew 18:10-14
"10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. 12 What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? 13 And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. 14 So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish."
Isn't it an incredible thought to imagine that even if it was only one person that was on the earth that needed grace..Jesus still would've came down to earth just to die for that one person and set them free of their sin? He loved us that much and he still would've sacrificed so that we could spend eternity with him in heaven!
Just as the shepherd went after the one sheep..Jesus loved us so much that he would've done the same when he died for our sins, that's the kind of merciful God that he is, that's why everyone should serve him because of the love, mercy and grace that he has offered to us when he really didn't have to do it..he did it anyway just as the shepherd did when he went after the one sheep..even though he had ninety nine sheep that were perfect he still chose to go after the sheep that strayed away, in many ways that's the way that Christ chose to die for us..there is not greater love than that of a Savior that chose to die for us, not because we deserved it but because he knew that it was the only way to free us from the chains that sin had upon us..now we can be free indeed through Jesus! Oh what a Savior that we serve!
