~Think on these things~

We are all guilty of thinking about things that we shouldn't be allowing in our minds to think in the first place..But there is a way for us to train our minds..if we focus on the things of Christ, instead of thinking of ourselves all the time.. that's when we can begin to learn and frame our minds into Godly thinking!
It's hard at first to train your mind to think a certain way, but it becomes easier with time and down the road you will realize just how valuable those kind of values are..especially once you're a grown up, somehow it makes a person feel more mature and really when you think about it..it makes a person more mature in a spiritual sense as well!
When a person trains their mind to think of the things of Christ and try hard to have a Godly lifestyle, then that is the best quality a person can have..if you can learn to master your thoughts and learn to control them then you'll be able to go more places for God and God will be able to trust you with much bigger things in his kingdom! Imagine the many things that you could do for him, imagine the places that you'll go..all because you surrendered to God your whole self..even your mind! They say a mind is a terrible thing to waste..so lets not waste our minds by thinking on the things of this world! Lets only think on good things, Godly things! Lets think pure thoughts, lets think about things that give our minds peace and not stress! Lets think about how we can become a better person and how we can become closer to God! Lets think of ways to help others!
Philippians 4:6-9
"6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. 9 What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you."
