~Recipe for Spiced Pear Cobbler~

Since I'm so passionate about cooking I'm going to do something a little different and Share a new recipe of mine that I made up tonight! I will be leaving for a trip to San Antonio to a worship conference tomorrow morning and will resume the regular blog Saturday night when I return from my trip.

*Recipe for Spiced Pear Cobbler By: Danielle Stoker*
1 cup whole wheat flour (all purpose)
3 T. Ground flax seeds or whole flax seeds
2 tsp. Baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup sugar or 3/4 cup of Raw Agave Nectar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 stick of unsalted butter
2 T. extra virgin coconut oil
4 T. rolled oats
1 cup whole milk or Almond milk
 1 tsp. pure vanilla
1 Large can Pear Halves in light syrup or sliced pears.
Preheat oven to 375`
In a medium bowl mix together Flour, flax seeds, baking powder, salt, sugar, cinnamon.
Pour in Milk and vanilla with all the other ingredients mix together using a whisk until combined, Set aside.
In a 13/9 inch pan put the half stick of butter and 2 T. Coconut oil place in oven until melted, in the bottom of pan sprinkle 2 T. rolled oats, Take your cake mixture and pour over hot butter and coconut mixture, break up the pears into slices and arrange them on top of the cake mixture making sure they're covering most of the cake mixture, Lastly pour half of the light syrup from the Pears evenly on top and 2 T. rolled oats and I Sprinkled a dash of Cinnamon on top but that's optional. Bake at 375` for 30-40 minutes until it's brown on the edges. Enjoy! You could also do this with apples or peaches if you'd like to but the Pears work the best in this Recipe and the flavors blend very well with the Cinnamon!
